Nice idea, but no chance of cutting the ribbon, being in a picture, or being the first to drive the route - every politican west of the Shannon will be ahead of him in that queue!

Sounds like a cattle underpass, therefore not meant for vehicles to use.

There are two types of accommodation underpass,one is for livestock and the other is work vehicles pics 1 and 2 this is what your friend has2pics3,4and 5 these are for work vehicles45

Noticed some beech hedging has gone up around the Mountpotter roundabout in the last week or so along with some new signs for Claremorris / Sligo. And this morning around 715am i noticed a large artic unloading a big bunch of fairly mature trees a the same roudabout...nice to see it all coming together now :-)
