Seriously, though, I want to hear 'exquisite gooooose' in a future audio montage, don't care how they shoe-horn it in.

I wish I had the kind of friends who would cheer me up with an exquisite goose.

Horrible injury and legitimate talking point that it was, I really felt they went overboard in the near two pods worth of discussion about Coleman's injury. I'd also like to hear a bit more analysis of the game itself, the Irish performance, what it means for the group etc, etc. Sometimes the guys can become fixated on one talking point from a game and neglect the wider picture.

I think the Coleman injury has gotten so much coverage because the game itself was so awful that there is hardly anything to be taken from it. Bar the bad fouling throughout.

I don't like the little audio montages which advertise last week's shows (which are played on the Monday shows and, infuriatingly, on the members only shows.

Take a leaf out of Football Weekly - don't advertise your own show, on your own show. Advertise off the pod on social media, on sponsored ads or whatever, but don't spend a minute of a 45-minute show playing content I have already listened to. Especially when it's followed up with a 1 minute discussion of 'that interview was great, wasn't it'.

I'm only saying this though because i listen to all the pods as they come out (and because its hump day in the week)

They've had that Argentinian journalist on occasion to talk about South American football and she's been excellent each and every time. More of her please!

I think this is nit-picking really. It's non unusual for a traditional daily radio show to mention the previous day's topic of conversation in passing etc.

The bed/sting(?) was played in 2 separate pods.....so to use your comparison, it would be like OTB referencing the crappy quiz on Monday and Tuesday.

Plus if its a sting in the first place, its not in passing.....its pre-organised.

Is that the guy who starting crying after a goal for Barcelona? That's a bad interlude and should be scrapped ASAP.

That's Marcela Mora y Araujo, she used to be on more regularly back in their OTB days.

Pretty stupid I'd imagine, but it'd be no harm if it encourages people to think before they post garbage on the internet next time

I reckon the opposite. These comments are presumably written to get a reaction and by reading them out Ken is giving them exactly what they want, attention.

    It's still entertaining though.

Was the political podcast a load of balls today or maybe it was too early in the morning after a late night?

Well, that was much more interesting than any GAA or rugby chat that I've ever listened to.

Would be cool if Ken did a Sunday newspaper review type show maybe even just once a month, just to change things up a bit.
