Nova has gone to shyte in the mornings, it's all waffle about random nonsense.

I'll be back listening next week now that Dee is back, just to see is there any change.

Maybe it's that sick feeling you have after you've lost a loved one.....or three hours of yer life....

    Ha ha! Could be, Max.

I had to laugh the other morning when they played an ad talking about how other stations would just be playing more ads right now. Well, so are you, Nova, albeit a self congratulatory one.

She's just talking about the baby non stop (when I tune in)...it's mindblowing that Branninagan is letting this sh1te carry on...on a rock station...

Yeah, it's getting quite tiresome alright. We get it, you both had a baby, she's doing well and we're happy for you. But we don't need to hear about it every day. It's the radio equivalent of that work colleague who never stops talking about their kids, and you dread getting stuck sitting with them in the canteen.

I did not check the listen back links but assume that same track was played - maybe the old Radio Luxembourg POWERPLAY has returned?

Well this is it. He is their most loyal listener.

Gollum had a less complex relationship with the Ring than this dude has with Nova.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Nice. That made me chuckle, I have to say. I got a mental image of Kevin Branigan as Napoleon.

How on earth did the bai give approval for that ???? How many more times are they going to bend over for Brannagan ?

As I said back in 2010 - 'Rock' is a very wide genre.

Doubt if there will be a change in 'format' per se just programming - like every other station that operates in Ireland (around the world would also fit !)

I think we just lament the loss of a "classics" station

there is obviously a big market for it. I still listen to all my dad's music! 1960s/70s

the internet has created a better choice, but as mentioned I have a sh1t car stereo

so maybe it's time for an upgrade of motor

    my two cents

I hear you, Guile. My car has a CD player, but it also still has a tape deck, would you believe? I think it's time to break out the laptop and acquire some blank CDs from Power City.

Pat Courtney had a truck driver on yesterday moaning about possible increase in the tv licence - "They can stick it up their hole".... "I just don't have it" he said....

......After returning from three weeks holiday in Lanzarote

    I nearly crashed the car

Conor Irwin has slowly gone mental and turned into some sort of Miller parody..its car crash

Irwin actually announced himself as Marty on this mornings show.

    Something along the lines of...

"You're listening to Radio Nova with Dee and Marty"

That's three nights on the trot that between songs, there was a "sports report" on the Ireland Wales match that was played last Friday! Prob someone thought it was supposed to be a Nova promo and never checked. The nighttime playlist is probably pre programmed and whoever is last leaving the office just hits Play :D

Overnight, post-midnight shows? Or in the Pat Courtney drive or the 80's/90's show slot?

Her old "night time" slot used to be until mid-night... I think.
