Clear, blue sky, chilling, fierce wind; washing almost all dry... Wonderful to be out in. Dry. Blissfully dry after all the rain and fog and damp.

    West Connemara 400 ft asl.

5pm TAF out, valid from 6pm onwards.

Dublin has temporary moderate sleet showers from 11pm and a chance of snow showers from 3am-12pm.

Shannon has temporary moderate sleet showers from 6pm and temporary moderate snow showers from 9pm.

Cork has temporary moderate sleet showers from 3am and a chance of moderate snow showers from 4am-10am.

Knock has temporary moderate sleet showers from 6pm and temporary moderate snow showers from 1am.

Overall, Shannon appears to be the most hopeful for snow!

Just looking out the back here, and the clouds look particularly menacing and 'lumpy'. More like you see before a summer evening downpour.
