What's with the marshals conducting the crowd to cheer when a putt goes in?!

1/2 the crowd don't look very Mexican.

Not sure what they should look like - that is a a bit Trump like.:D

The last 3 holes of round 2 crippled Rory in this tournament

He went from having 2 short birdie putts and finishing Day 2 on -12 to only being -9 after a 3 putt and 2 tiny misses.

He was very down beat afterwards and has been completely stale in the tournament since.

Delighted for DJ, guy's a phenom, love his attitude, his game is incredible too. Clear No.1 in the world right now.

Agreed, he could really have put him in a strong position, the last 2 were embarrassing. Realise it's only his 1st tournament back, but this is a problem he needs to get sorted.

Good one from Feherty - hardest shot in golf - 50 yard bunker shot
Feherty - well he has a 20 one now -

    lol

His comments can sometimes be better than the golf.

Anyone else a bit uneasy at the comments made about DJ's intelligence?

The fella's from Sky were at it last night again in the studio. Harmon is another who frequently mentions his lack of intelligence. He may well be not too clever but to openly belittle him on TV is a bit crass itself.

Absolutely agree - and none of the spanners on Sky Sports are f*cking Mensa candidates, that's for sure! How much of a career would Claude have if his father wasn't Butch??

yes it seems to be something that a lot of commentators appear to be "OK" about joking on.

he's world no.1, financially is set for life, has a smokin' hot wife, has successfully come back from problems in the past - well done to him.

Golf is not chess in any case. It's about getting the ball in the hole in the least shots and he's currently the best at that.

I'd say most normal people would see it as a bit of harmless banter actually... anyway I'm sure it's Paulina who controls the credit card :D

Em..not so sure about that Mick. Openly slagging somebody's intelligence isn't just harmless banter. Harmless banter would be slagging someones hairstyle or type of car they drive. That's my opinion anyway.

damming statistic, for the rest of the field's chances for when his putting will be in form.

"In Mexico, the US Open champion missed 16 putts from inside 10 feet "

Tough to see McDowell make Top 64 before Sunday night in time for the cut off for WGC matchplay in Austin.
    +2 thru 14.

Rough time at the moment for Poulter too.. think he is coming close to losing his tour card. Only has a few events left to earn enough money to do so and not looking so goo today. He also announced he is shutting down his IJP clothing company a few days ago.

Made it through to the weekend anyway. Nice 67 in round 2.

Well that was a good finish to the Valspar - virtually matchplay between Patrick Cantlay and Adam Hadwin - Hadwin managed to hold on to win, despite putting a ball in the water on 16 - kept his head well.

Andrew 'Beef' Johnston was guest on Sky - I've never been a fan of him and his antics, but I thought he was actually very good on Sky.

Hadwin missed the green with 2 chips......came away with a DB

What Hoffman and Kisner do on 16 is likely to decide it
