They did actually. But there was a ref with a red/white cane and a dog and no goal line technology.

Considering the stake size and bet type someone should explain to him how to cash out and get whats likely to be more than a months salary.

If he had the cash out amount in cash in his hand he probably wouldnt even dream of betting that amount on the Chelsea game.

Of course when the bet wins he will blame the good samaritan for costing him 8 or 9 grand;)

Cash out is nowhere near the 12 grand at the moment seeing it is Win/BTTS.

Also a **** bet to lay as there are too many other outcomes possible

The bookmaker he used may simply allow him to cash out. In other words he might not have to try to figure out permutations of how to lay the bet on Betfair.

The 12 grand is the total win. The 8 or 9 grand I mentioned refers to the amount he might get if he cashed out so €12k - €8k = €4k cashout amount for example.

*Odds currently about 3.4 for this bet with most bookies.

I don't have the stats to back this up but I am very wary of betting on odds on away teams on the Monday evening games and think if possible this is a clear cash out bet for someone who will place a high value on €4k especially considering they only bet €2.50.

I am a Liverpool supporter but will be rooting for the guy tonight but he has about a 70% chance of losing this bet using the bookies implied odds.

That was what i was pointing at (or trying). 12.000 final but with 1 match worth @3.4 to go, cash out now might not be more than 3000/3200.

Even the H2H supports your 70% chance losing :D
Only 3x in the last 10 seasons Chelsea won there while conceding

West Ham also have some injuries and suspensions with Antonio suspended, Carroll doubtful with a groin injury, Sakho out with a back injury, Calleri has only played a handful of minutes in the Premier League so basically West Ham will need to rely on Lanzini having a great game against the best defence in the league who have kept a clean sheet in 50% of their league games.

While West Ham have a good recent record if you just focus on their recent form against comparable teams to Chelsea you have these recent results:

    West Ham 0-4 Man City
    West Ham 0-2 Man Utd

*That recent game against City they had a front 4 of Carroll, Antonio, Lanzini and Feghouli. They will have an even weaker attacking lineup tonight.

*Chelsea have won 15% of their away league games this season with both teams scoring.

Yea, probably a case of failing on the last hurdle if all things go normal

Infor that disallowed goal is shocking stuff. Clear goal.

We are all rooting for €2.50 guy tonight then?

Carroll is back and may cause problems for Luiz and cahill. More than likely have a front 4 of lanzini snodgrass feghouli and carroll. A London derby like this is always going to be hard to predict but you know west ham won't be allowed to roll over at home to Chelsea as it's probably the second biggest game of the season. I imagine the crowd will ensure there is a decent atmosphere and would be hopeful enough that we won't lose

    Stuck at work here
Chattin my mate there who works with him

That 2.50 bet was done in shop, said same young lad doesn't have an online account and would be the type to let it roll regardless
Chelsea/btts was 16/5 earlier so a tad big maybe to lay for most of us

Sad thing there obviously is that if chelsea do take the lead and both have scored then it's not even worth thinking about what might happen after
    Fingers crossed for him

Bury v Gillingham BTTS 4/6 - has come in 9 games in a row for Gillingjam and Bury games have been the highest scoring in league one this year.

    Other bets:
BTTS in Ipswich v Brentford 4/6
    Stoke 19/20
Stevange to win and BTTS 3/1

Put a €10 treble on the 3 winning selections here but PP not paying out - have started a new thread explaining the problem - would appreciate if anyone can have a look or could offer advice. Thanks.

Thinking about BTTS in all CL second legs (apart from the Juve Porto game maybe). Do these bets ever come off though...

Not the worst bet this week. Has a fair chance of coming off. Wouldn't be quick to include next weeks games.

The ones you don't see coming off each week is the same bet on 10 premier league games at a massive -EV price that get the very recreational players.
