I don't even want to imagine what the odds were for the exact same scorelines in the second leg as the first in both games tonight!

I had a look at overs/btts in both.

Arsenal match was a whopping @1.72 and Napoli match an enormous @1.57

I dont think i have ever seen lower odds for that particular bet.

A PSG-Benfica double is 64/1, I think given that both Barca and Dortmund will be chasing the game this is well worth a crack.

    City, barca, dortmund @2.44

    Barca-PSG under 2.5 @ 3.40 (!!!)
    BvB-Benfica under 2.5 @ 2.5

One double@ 8.5 and two singles
    Also high stake on
    Barce-PSG under 3.5@1.85

I haven't looked at stats but you'd expect any team that aren't bad to have at least 3 corners. Wouldn't you?

Just checked and they had 2 in the home leg, Dortmund had 8.
    Benfica get 6.5 corners average
    Dortmund concede 2.7 corners average

cavani anytime 2.55 888 (shame on you pp 4/6 )

benfica corners looks pretty good at the price given there's a good chance
they'll have to chase the game at some stage imo

    accum at a little over 22/1 (888)

    cavani anytime
    st mirren
    pezzella to be booked
    benfica over 2.5 corners

    looks easy on paper :p

You're only looking at that from one point of view. Another is that a good team will feel that they can combine well together and get into good scoring positions in the box whereas a worse team might shoot from distance more which might results in deflections and more corners.

When your dealing with very high quality center backs who have a lot of experience they are willing to take more time when they are under pressure at the back to find a teammate with a pass whereas worse defenders will more often head the ball out for a corner as they are not as confident that they won't lose possession in a dangerous area or simply are not as aware of their surroundings.

Long story short, sometimes it better to have 2 worse teams playing eachother if you want to bet the overs on corners but basically its team and opponent dependent not just good or bad teams.

As always, it depends on the game. In the Napoli v Madrid game you have two great attacking teams but the fact that Napoli had to attack and score at least 2 goals against once of the best counter attacking teams in the world made the Both To Score & Over 2.5 Goals bet great for me but I bet at odds of 1.7 with Coral and I would have bet above odds of 1.48.

Here are what my prices were for some of the betting markets in that game.

Best price 1/3 on the Overs in Barca/PSG tonight. Is this a record? Must surely be a record low price for the CL anyway.

    Psg to win 4-0
    Benfica to win 1-0
    Double at 6833/1 on betvictor.ie
    5875/1 on pp
    Only 3653/1 on bet365
some Difference! Doubt there will be many takers though:pac:

Would be interesting to know what percentage of games in the Champions League (group stages onwards) had the same team winning by the same scoreline in both legs home and away against the same opponent over the last 5 seasons. Any takers?:)

Rabiot booking 9/2 betfair ,picked up a caution in a couple of meetings against Barca
Psg red 9/2 PP ,Can see the crowd getting on the refs back most of the game ,it wouldn't surprise me if they lost their discipline if barca score an early goal. At the camp nou with crowd pressure I can see psg collecting a couple .
2.5 benfica /2.5 psg cards double PP 2.88

Taken Suarez to be shown a card @4.00 on Betfair Sportsbook

Hates losing and is bound to get frustrated. I'm turning down the old reliable of Verratti to be booked @2.5 tonight for this, decent price there too I think.

I fancy a red in this game too Sean, may take a go at it in play if it starts heating up. German ref tonight, he likes red cards domestically but only seems to dish them in Man Utd games on the european stage of late. Tonight's game could well push that stat.

PSG to win 4-0? Is that a typo? Barca will score a couple of early goals and it'll be squeaky bum time for PSG. ;)

    Orange pilled.

I think he's looking back at last nights results, where they repeated the 1st leg scores.

Extremely unlikely. :P PSG will more than likely still qualify but they might have a scare here.

    Winner

Thank feck, it looked pretty shaky given how many times he pushed his luck throughout the game and avoided a card. :o

I thought it was coming in the post for a while, when PSG scored I knew it wouldn't take long. Lots of cards tonight there could well be a late red.

13/2 when I checked yesterday. Arsenal were 40/1 to qualify before the game!
