    following on from the lies in movies i thought a tv thread would be interesting




    anybody can just become a mecanic and own a sucessfull business despite only finishing school a few months ago and not doing any kind training

    Two characters can hold a full-volume conversation 2 feet away from another character in a quiet room without being overheard, but can't hold a whispered conversation in a crowded room without being overheard by someone on the other side of the room!

    Related to this, characters being able to hold a conversation in a pub or club without shouting loudly over music.

    In soaps the majority of houses are like the TARDIS. No matter how many family members or friends come to stay there's infinite bedrooms for them to stay in. Everyone seems to drink in the pub at their lunchtime going back to operate sewing machines and whatever else they do. A family moves into the soap village all happy and within months they're splitting up or having affairs.

    In crime related TV shows no one goes to the crime scene wearing proper clothing. They go from the crime scene to the lab in the exact same clothes and hair is never tied up or covered.

    Sunny as it is, they're probably running a large percentage of the East coasts 'commercial film stock of coloured film gels', placed in-front of dozens of 500w bulbs, as fancy mood and ambience lightning.
