I'd have done Sanchez to a Liverpool mid or Sanchez to Snodgrass and Carroll to Costa for a -4. I'd then have done Costa to aguero next week for free. It will probably work out fine as a lot of the time when you think ahead in this game it doesn't work out.

I did an early -4 after all my preaching to wait for the cup draw!! :)

But as I did Sanchez to Mane it's worked out rather well by pure luck.

Sanchez to hazard . Its a good move for this week and I had 8 players in place for gw 28 with 2 FTS so was well set up. However with Liverpool now having a gw 28 fixture and the potential dgw in 27 I'd have played things differently.

I'm happy enough with that move this gameweek as I wanted Chelsea attacking cover for the Swansea at home fixture. I can just do Alli to Sterling or Sané next gameweek if Man City beat Huddersfield in the replay. I intend to keep Ibra for Bournemouth at home and may captain him as well.

As if things were not difficult enough
Leicester City confirm the departure of manager Claudio Ranieri https://t.co/Rzv6zIOso9

    Christ
Was all set to do Sanchez to mane tonight too

Why does this make a difference?

Ranieri gone might give the players some form of a boost but I doubt it with the way they've been playing all season.

It's an interesting one alright, could go either way I would imagine the atmosphere could be quite poisonous as Leicester fans will be well pissed off as well.

Yes if they don't get someone in by then it could well be
And if they do and it's not a popular one then ..........
I'm going to get mane anyway I guess as I need him for 28 too
And it will leave me enough in the bank for someone in 27
Someone we thought was done and dusted in fpl
    ;)

Ibra & Sanchez - > Lukaku & Mane. No hit.

Funds in the bank for Carroll - > Aguero if needed next week

I know this isn't really related to GW26 but can anyone tell me when the city DGW is

If Man City beat Huddersfield in the FA Cup fifth round replay in midweek, they will have a double next gameweek along with Stoke. If they lose, City's game against Stoke will take place in GW28.

    Ibra > Lukaku done for a -4.

    Question for FSA brains trust.

I've made one FT already and have another FT.

I have 11 for this week, but one of those is De Roon, who is normally bench fodder.

I have Yoshida on my bench, who will be making way at some stage in preparation for GW28, but I'm really not sure who I want to bring in for him. Could be Coleman, who I can afford. Or it could be Maguire.

My problem I don't know who I really want/need in defence. Coleman would be nice, but I may need to go cheaper depending on which other transfers I need to make in preparation for GW28.

    So would you:
A: Play De Roon, keep a transfer and see how things pan out
B: Make the defensive move I will need to make anyway, this week.

I'd probably play De Roon and hold fire for another week. Transfers at this time of year are so precious that if you're anyway unsure it's better to wait, things may become clearer in a weeks time

Yeah that's what I was leaning towards. De Roon playing Palace, so not a bad fixture for him. The last time he came off the bench for me he got 6 points, so have a soft spot for him.

Didn't feel right dumping sanchez but this is usually the time arsenal fall apart history tells us. Gone crouch and sanchez out kane and moses in

Could you upgrade de roon to a better mid that also plays in 28. Grosicki off hull perhaps.

    I've done Sanchez to Mane.

    Foster Pickford
    Pieters McAuley Holgate Amat Francis
    Pedro Alli Stanislas Mane Sigurdsson
    Costa Kane Defoe

    0 FT and 2.5 ITB

Francis seems to be still injured, Holgate and Amat look unlikely to play. I was considering playing BB but Stanislas might not play either. I'm wondering should I just play Holgate and hope he plays, play BB and hope Stanislas plays or upgrade Holgate/Amat for a -4?

Whose going without Lukaku? Getting the fear big time after reviewing the captaincy poll stats!

    Yup.
Have 1 FT and Ibra benched at the moment. I've got the fear too but holding means I can get Kun for free next week (Gray and Hazard/Alonso out probably.)

Would leave me with I FT to add to these 6 for GW28
    Brunt Funes Mori
    Siggy Mane Phillips Fraser

    TC Kun will be tempting...

Is Mane still as good a signing as he was this time last week?

Or should we expect some element of a dead cat bounce from Leicester?

In saying that I guess Mane is likely to outscore Sanchez this weekend :pac:

If they don't have someone announced by Monday night I think the atmosphere could be toxic
Ranieiri was obviously extremely popular with the fans so they won't be happy

Don't play bb unless you have 15 playing players.

I presume it's AOA and not BB your talking about.
I'd probably AOA and rely on Stan to save the transfer but taking a hit for a defender you want could work too just be aware of it spoiling any plans you may have for Man City players next week.

It really is tough....I think you need another defender though and given you still have AOA he does not have to have a good fixture in GW27 if you AOA then.

I'd definitely take a hit for a defender. You could upgrade Holgate/Amat to Funes/Mori or a Hull defender. It could only end up being a 2 point hit if Francis, Holgate or Amat don't play. I'd hang onto Francis in case he's back for GW28.

Not a hope I'd play BB

    Thinking of doing the following:

    Ibra ---> Lukaku
    Philips ---> Mane
    Chambers ---> Baines

A -8 but it leaves me nicely stacked with 7 so far for GW28. I'll be honest though, I'm thinking short-term & going without some heavy hitters this GW could be costly. I'd be overly reliant on Costa & Hazard to get a decent score.

    ---- Jaku

    Baines -- Holebas -- Brunt -- Pieters

    Hazard -- Mane -- Siggy

    Costa -- Lukaku (C) -- Kane

    Pickford, Amat, Sterling, Fletcher

Well I have the 3 your transferring out but have Mane.
It looks good to be honest if you're not getting Kun (assuming he would cost 2 transfers next week) mostly because you've Sterling there already.

Did Ibra to Costa for -4, I know long term it's not a good idea but the fact he has scored 7 in 4 games against Swansea and the fact I have no Chelsea cover might justify my decision.

Wow... Too many things goin' on...

Just gonna keep it simple. Sanchez -> Mané. Probably Ibra -> Lukaku for -4 as a captain blocker.
