Ok folks, a fictional female character. Id suggest it would be useful to try to isolate where they appear in terms of medium, genre etc.

Are they associated with the sci fi and fantasy genre?

Not a guess, but I'm thinking Katniss Everdeen so far.

Should we assume they originated as a film/tv character so? Or are other origins likely, eg computer games?

    Clarification?

Does this just mean not alive because fictional or also dead in the story/movie?...

I took it as are they a living breathing human, to which the answer is no. The second part feels like it should be a second guess

    8/no

No alias rules out a lot, eg:
    Wonder Woman / Diana Prince
    Super Girl / Kara
Pretty much any of the X-Men, eg: Phoenix / Jean Grey

Would all the characters you mention not originate from Comics as opposed to movies?

True. Just saying that not having an alias rules a lot of characters out. They were the first to come to my head is all.

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 16,287 Mod ✭✭✭✭quickbeam

    So:
    Female fictional character
Originated in a sci-fi or fantasy film made prior to 2000
    Has no alias
    Has special powers or abilities

I'm struggling to think of any character with a special ability without an alias
