    I took it as are they a living breathing human, to which the answer is no. The second part feels like it should be a second guess

    No alias rules out a lot, eg:
    Wonder Woman / Diana Prince
    Super Girl / Kara
    Pretty much any of the X-Men, eg: Phoenix / Jean Grey

    Would all the characters you mention not originate from Comics as opposed to movies?
