About to set off for Edinburgh. Horrible weather in Glasgow at the moment and it's heading east. Could be a fair bit of rain in Edinburgh over the next 2 to 3 hours.

Any 1 Know when Trimble and Bowe were in an Irish 23...at the same time?
Can't recall. Whenever one of them is in the other seems injured

It's supposed to mostly clear up in the next hour or 2..

I think a wet slippy day could suit the Irish, imo we've the stronger pack and a slogfest would virtually take Hogg, jones, maitland, Seymour and Russell out of the game

I find these endless pre-prepared monologues to be tiresome and self indulgent, and leave little or no time for actual pre-match coverage.. Especially given the thing is almost wall to wall ads nowadays anyway. very frustrating.

I think the backs are key. Henshaw and Ringrose can provide thrust and momentum. But we should be wary of the Scots, they are breeding a decent, lubricant brand of rugby.

We should be wary of any opposition. And we are. This'll be more comfortable than a lot think.

Richie McCaw asked who he admired in the world game now he's not competing against them, the only one he named, Sean O'Brien

    Nice

The amount of sh1te you have to sit through to see the game. I'm gonna switch on when the match kicks off in future.

Inverdale - in 10 seconds, is Gary ringrose the new Brian o'driscoll?
Keith wood - he's the first Gary ringrose

Dumb question dealt with as it deserved

at least with hookie you had a slice of belligerent bellicose madness to ease up on banal crap

Wet weather will definitly suit us with the much better pack, scrum and backrow. They have a better attacking back three, which won't suit in the wet weather. Murray's box kicking will be key in nullifying Hogg and Seymour's counter attacking like in the Champions Cup fixture.

I think Ireland by 10, relativity comfortable.

Looks like the weather is clearing up. Gotta keep their backs in check.

I'm enjoying it. I'm so incredibly excited for the six nations that there is very little they could put on to dampen my mood.

Tight game in store, decided by a controversial late penalty awarded by that fine gentleman Mr Poite
