    I've always wondered what a "carefully designed topless swimsuit " looked like.

    Was it a bikini with the top carefully removed?
    Was it a one piece with the front bit carefully removed?

    Apparently nena was not happy with the English translation.

    But I think that the lines

    "..it's all over and I'm standing pretty
    in this dust that was a city."

    are immensely moving in the context of a pop song. Plus the context of the times, when we did come very close to nuclear war (for more on this look up exercise Able Archer on Wikipedia).

    You know you're getting old when you tune straight to Vintage TV and avoid all the other music channels :D
