Never mind celebrities, GOP staffer Elizabeth Lauten got in hot water for suggesting that Sasha and Malia should show a little class instead of dressing like they were heading out to a bar. Sasha was 13 at the time.

I just googled 'republican criticises Sasha Malia' and that came up - never knew about it before. If I kept googling, I'd probably find more.

My point is that we could each drag up examples on both sides of bloggers, media, even staff, making idiotic comments about people (like kids) who should just be left out of it.

Each side will have their fair share of absolute morons who are at the bottom of the barrel. But I don't see the need to argue that one side is worse than the other about it.

According to the "right-on" individuals at Saturday Night Live, yes. When people share "oh so hilarious" Alec Baldwin as Trump vids, let's remind them of the hatred and bullying that the show endorses. Of a child ffs.

You're making O'Donnell out to be the main cheerleader of the left.i can't help it if what you're trying to do comes out as what you're trying to do. She's not a prominent liberal. She's someone that has a childish spat with Trump and should've been ignored. Unless you want to go a admonish Trump for his insults to her too. Even then, it's irrelevant to the rest of the liberals in the world. Or do you want to go find another single example and say that all liberals feel the same as that, too? Because it's equally stupid as what you tried to do before.

Not all of the left think the same
Not all of the right think the same.

    Its not rocket science.

He wanted tanks and missiles to be there, but was told tanks would destroy the roads.

    The hell they would.

    Someone is telling a fib.

Yes there is a cure for this. How upset would you be if your guide dog was put to sleep?

What do you make of Michael Moore calling for disruption of the inauguration and supporting groups like disruptj20, or people like Cher and Katy Perry literally telling people to go out and cause riots?

I don't recall right leaning celebrities saying things like that when Obama got elected. People with tens of millions of followers on twitter.

Edit: Lady GaGa was doing the same thing, inciting violence.

    Are you serious?

Trump himself was calling for marches on Washington and tweeting about a revolution when Obama was re-elected in 2012.

I think they're scum. Oh sorry, were you hoping I'd excuse their actions? Sorry, they're just scum. Like, as is pointed out, Trump, who called for the same.

Not really getting all the wailing and moaning from the losing side about his inauguration speech.

He basically promised to deliver on his pledges to his supporters: bring jobs back home, put America first, not engage in military conflicts unless it was definitely in US interests.

Whether he will deliver on those promises or not, granted, remains to be seen, but we could say that about any newly elected president.

    This is a strawman argument:

And his reasoning was that Obama lost the 2012 popular vote (which he didn't, he won it by 5mn - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2012 )

I think the opposition to trump goes far beyond left and right. Plenty of traditional conservatives are horrified at this charade.

So you're saying that Rosie is just a person and her opinion is nothing to do with the left at all, it's just a single person's opinion? Grand, that's common sense.

Apparently the Whitehouse website now mentions that melanias jewelry line is available to purchase on the QVC shopping channel.

    Classy.

I don't see it anywhere (on that page at least):
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/administration/first-lady-melania-trump

EDIT: It appears the page was edited and some content removed, but the original content was this: “Melania is also a successful entrepreneur. In April 2010, Melania Trump launched her own jewelry collection, ‘Melania™ Timepieces & Jewelry,’ on QVC,” which isn't really anything to complain about, I don't think.

So the violent, angry and aggressive types smashing up property and attacking people are progressive? They're the ones we'r meant to sympathise with? Right...

I don't agree with their actions, but you've no opinion on Trump calling for the US public to do exactly that back in 2012 when he (wrongly) thought Obama had lost the popular vote?

No, they're scumbags. The progressives are different. Try and keep up dear. Not all Irish people are in the Iran.

I don't recall Trump telling people to attack people, destroy property and be violent. If he did he was utterly wrong.

Or do you take "revolution" to be different depending on whether it Bernie Sanders, Democratic activists right now or Trump calling for it?

Rosie O'Donnell speaks for every single person on the left.

Alex Jones speaks for every single Trump supporter.
