Llorente to Giroud or Costa depending on who looks more likely to play. Prefer Giroud.

I've got Evans and have finally gotten rid of the notion that West Brom equals clean sheets which renders him useless attacking wise. Player I like the most at a reasonable price is Brunt though. Is this one sideways move that might actually make more sense than not?

How likely is Costa to get back into the side this weekend?
Not sure it's the weekend to make a move to Kane.

Should be some update soon. Back to training with the group today. But not as clear cut as I had assumed maybe. Especially when the Pedro/Willian/Hazard axis was so good.

Pedro/Haz great options if Costa left out again.

50/50 on whether to swap him to Kane. Alteady have Alli so have a ticket in the City defence giveaway raffle.

Surely Aguero has to at least give his loyal supporters a send off!! :)

He did 2 weeks ago :D

Costa back training with first team so luckily it doesn't look like I will have to transfer him out on the other hand anyone else with Aguero thinking about transferring him out

Hmm. That makes it tricky. Was kinda hoping Costa remained out of favour.

Was thinking about holding Aguero and getting Pedro for Snoddy.

Will Costa come back with a bang to prove a point or will he be in a sulk and get a yellow card.

    -4 on the cards again....

    Ibra > Costa
Kone (yes, still somehow in my team) > Baines

    Sell Ibra? :eek::confused:

Top scoring and most consistent forward in the game.
Goal or assist in 9 of the last 10 league games he has been available for.
Two of the worst defenses in the league home in the next 4 games.
    Stoke and shambolic Leicester away.

You don't sell Zlatan. Zlatan sells you.

Neglected to look beyond the next round of fixtures

Back to the drawing board so...

    Yeah don't sell Zlatan.
He's been involved in 61% of united league goals this season

I found this piece quite good on premium strikers

Yeah that was a good piece.

Another reason I would probably rather get Pedro than Costa for Chelsea cover. So cheap, quite explosive but you're not gonna captain him. Meanwhile Lukaku, Kane and Ibra look to be the hottest front line.

I was just looking through my strikers today trying to figure out who I'd actually want if i'd unlimited funds.

Seems Ibra is a no-brainer. Aguero a no-hoper. There's a case to be made for everyone else.

Kane is getting the headlines at the moment after his performances against Watford and West From, but then he was horrible against Burnley and Hull.

Lukaku seems to be quietly going about his business.

Costa seems undroppable if he's playing, though there doesn't seem much hope of him scoring more than 8 in any week.

With Hazard offering good Chelsea coverage, I'd be tempted to go Ibra/Kane/Lukaku if I'd the funds. What would be other people's top 3?

I think that's what I'll end up when I move giroud on

De Room is cheap and he plays but don't expect a big return from him.

Get Davies instead of De Roon

Have exactly enough to do Daniels to Baines or Ake to Funes Mori before rises/falls tonight. FM is interesting but would probably get dropped the minute i sign him.

Well Aké will most likely get no game time any time soon so worth a shot I think.

Hard to do if you have Sanchez, without going bargain basement in defence. At the moment, some of the premium defenders are really showing their worth.

My strikers at the moment are Ibra/Giroud/Defoe...Giroud for the short term and probably Defoe too. I'll then have a decision of 2 of Ibra/Kane/Lukaku/Costa plus one mid range, which will depend on form/fixtures.

After I get my BB out of the way I'd plan to downgrade a striker to Barnes and go 352. With 2 of the premium strikers IBRA and either kane/lukaku up to gw 26.

Fell asleep and missed it but he didn't drop :P Thinking about going FM until GW28 then assuming Spurs have a blank, do Rose to Baines for a double up against West Brom (h) and Hull (h) and then reversing that transfer when Everton have Pool (a) and United (a) in 31 and 32. Sounds good in theory...

Too soon to get Costa back in??

10.3 now, will need to take a -4 to get Pedro, Giroud OUT, Costa & Philips IN

Will wimmer start for spurs do we think lads? Could be a cheap way into their defense

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,596 ✭✭✭threein99

To Costa or not to Costa ?

I have Giroud in instead of him.Arsenal and Chelsea are at home to Burnley and Hull so both should be comfortable wins, Giroud is an injury doubt though so if I go with him and he doesn't play I'll be raging.

Chelseas next 3 games are Hull, Liverpool and Arsenal

Arsenals next 3 are Burnley, Watford and Chelsea

Sanchez will play upfront with Giroud out which is great news for Sanchez owners.

As owner of both, I hope he's out so I can get Costa in

I think it's FAR from certain costa will start.
Chelsea scored 3 without him against Bournemouth and again last week
Hazard pedro Willian all played well
    Who does Conte drop ?
I think he may make a point and not start him
It's Hull at home after all

    Food for thought anyway

Giroud is not confirmed out. In fact he's expected to be fine. Slight chance the knock is an excuse to start him on the bench is my only fear....

"Arsenal are optimistic Giroud can make the game, although he is still being assessed. Walcott 10-14 days at least"

I also think he'll be on the bench this weekend but it's only a matter of time.

Its a tricky one, the fact Giroud is doubtful is not helping my indecision
