There was someone who was a contestant that said that he constantly used racial and sexual insults. And I seem to remember hearing of the tape. It's supposed to be like a blooper reel of outtakes that had been shared amongst former employees. Apparently it wasn't released because everyone was scared of being sued.

Having said all that I have no idea if it exists. I'm just repeating rumours.

Same, one of the sites breaking the story is pro Trump and Roger Stone works for them so there's a chance this is true.

No site worth linking has picked it up yet.

Some unverifiable reports on the net are saying that a video of Trump using the N word is going to be released before the inauguration. Meant to be an outtake from the apprentice.

Might be bs, but there have been other reports on this tape for months now.

If it does exist then what is the point of releasing it now? Surely if the person who has it was worried about it the time to release it was before the public voted for him.

What is it supposed to achieve now? The vote won't be re-run. He won't be stopped from being the president.

So lets see how he acts in terms of equality now that he is president rather than digging up a video form the past when doing do can achieve nothing.

Sorry, don't understand. Is this a CNN story?

CNN are meant to be one of sources who've got their hands on the tape.

This whole thing might be bs so let's wait and see. I just find it odd a pro Trump site who employs Roger Stone was reporting it.

    It'll be really funny!

The folks on the Apprentice, back when the pussy grabbing tape was released, said there was worse to come, but apparently there are thousands and thousands of hours of tape, so finding the good stuff would be hard.

Yeah, there's a report of what you are saying here.

What Putin has to say about the golden shower accusations.
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jan/17/trump-dossier-a-crude-provocation-compiled-by-a-fugitive-crook-says-russian-minister
“This is an adult, and a man who for years organised beauty contests and spoke with the most beautiful women in the world. I can hardly believe that he ran off to meet with our girls of low social morals. Although of course ours are the best in the world,” said Putin.

    lol.

    Pfft.

I can't see any such video making much difference.
Calling someone a n*gger is the epitome of the anti-PC. It will just make his supporters like him more.

Anyone who was bothered about racism probably wasn't a fan previously.

And that's even if there is such a video.

Agreed - not only did his supporters know he was a vulgar racist before they voted for him, many of them voted for him because he is a vulgar racist.

Yep and some of his supporters will see it as a license for them to use it.

Perhaps. But it may further galvanise opposition to Trump. It certainly will weaken him further. Wonder how the likes of Tim Scott and Mia Love will feel about it.

Well in fairness there's been a lot of car companies moving production and jobs to Michigan and other places.

In fairness to Trump, the big problem coming down the tracks for such employment is automation. Not just an American problem too.

    Nope, ratings.

The same reason he got so much free coverage during the whole election cycle.

Dem rep Maxine Waters said on msbnc's hardball the Russians were the ones who came up with the term "Crooked Hillary" and they thought up the idea of questioning Hillary's health! If they want people to believe the Russia garbage they seriously need to come up with better arguments.

Speaking during a news conference, Putin said last week’s leak of the 35-page report -- written by a private investigator as a series of memos and eventually passed on to the intelligence community -- was a last-ditch attempt on the part of President Obama’s outgoing administration to “undermine the legitimacy of the president-elect.”

“Prostitution is an ugly social phenomenon . . . but people who order such fakes, which are now used against the elected president of the United States, fabricate information and use it in the political struggle, they are worse than prostitutes,” Putin said, according to a translation by Sputnik News. “They have no moral limits.”

Thank god somebody is telling the truth.......

I think that Trump will be a success in the jobs front, at least in the short term. US, unlike Ireland, has the power to insist that companies invest in the US to sell products there. There really is no excuse to make products outside of the US and sell them within.

Where Trump will face problems is that he seems to be focused on certain companies/industries.

I head Gary Kasparov on a podcast over Christmas (I think it was Sam Harris) and he said that the "Hillary Will Start World War 3" meme that proliferated the internet in the weeks before the election was straight from Russian state propaganda.
So you never really know where the germ of these things are.

I wouldn't believe the "crooked" moniker is Russian. Trump did stuff like that with others like Lyin' Ted and Little Marco.
But the conspiracy theory about her health could have originated anywhere, possibly Russia, though I've seen nothing to suggest it.
Rep Waters is probably just confused.

Not on the same page there at all! There was plenty of public footage of her seeming ill. Anyhow, what does it matter now.

Sure there is. China makes it cheaper and Europe probably makes it better. Buying due to national pride is un american.

Sorry, I meant to add there is no excuse, expect for profit, to make outside the US.

But are Americans ready to pay higher prices as that is the only way this will work. Either that or less quality.

If they are then the jobs will start to come back, with the caveat that automation is a bigger problem than Mexico.

Or I guess they can accept the jobs at the same rates as the Mexicans were being paid and on the same benefits.

Another motor company making an announcement in quick succession

"Hyundai Motor, South Korea's largest carmaker, says it will increase its investment in the US by 50 per cent over the next five years, to $3.1bn, as it seeks to capitalize on pledges by President-elect Donald Trump to boost the American economy.".

The German Economics Minister pointed this out to Trump yesterday. As he said, if you walk down Fifth Avenue all you see are Mercs but you don't see many Chevrolets in Germany. Historically, American cars have appalling reliability records.
