I once saw Elvis driving a Ford Transit in Dun Laoighre at 7:30am one day (or one of those big Renault van things or something like that) - this was in the 80's when every thing was all-right. Seriously, I swear - it *was* Elvis.

The van turned to reveal along the side of the van Ireland's No 1 Elvis Mr. Frank Chisum.

In fairness, albeit Elvis was dead for maybe 10 years at that stage, he certainly looked the part.

    It was 7:30am.

    :D

Few from old dash cam. The first lot all taken on same day, parking on cycle lanes, double yellow line parking on the RHS by traffic lights. Using hazards to park on double yellow lines, crawler crossing into the supermarket, parking on double yellow lines opposite cinema. Someone rushing the yellow light and gets told off by pedestrian on the other side. Impatient driver on RHS creeping out waiting for green.
Parking on cycle lane outside school and a sulky on the bypass.

Jesus CreepingDeath you have to go to GARDAI with this stuff. Prat is gonna kill someone.

Clontarf guards are going to look into it, but won't accept dashcam footage.

I really wouldn't normally bother with this but looks like they're a repeat offender and that's potentially twice I've encountered them. Can't really say definitively that the earlier December clip is the same car, but certainly looks like it.

Post the videos to twitter GARDA and ask what you should do. I don't accept clontarf GARDA saying they won't accept the footage.

Is there even DUBLIN city council traffic cams in that area I wonder ?

Do not put up the audio with the reg called out as they will reject it. Put a comment up that you have the reg if required and ask if anything can be done.

    send that to the Ombudsman,

They accept CCTV footage in solving crimes, but they won't accept dash cam footage (evidence)!!

I'll wait and see what they come back with.
Even if a casual caution changes their behavior it'll be something.
I'm not spending much effort of this in fairness.

    .
Several Gardai at several stations, including Garda Traffic Corps, have accepted cam footage and issued FPNs for me in the past.

    You should challenge this.

Nothing exciting. Hello from the Department of Endless Indicating.

Silver Toyota on my right started to indicate long before the lights. Thought he/she wanted to move into my lane, nope. I stayed back just in case of last minute muppetry in the event it would try to turn into the ESB place on the left, nope...was going through the roundabout. I get the intention, it was just strange.

No brake lights on the car the bike was racing, he slams on and the biker has no idea..

Car was fairly belting along there and has to jam on pretty quick. I guess biker gets done because on car having no brake lights but probably should have reacted quicker. Unreal though the car kept moving along at a pretty tasty speed. Biker seemed to be having a proper go, I thought there was going to be some fisty cuffs

Not really. The speeding car has to brake suddenly, because of the car in front which the bike sees. You can clearly see that the car jams on when the bike right behind him, it happens after the initial braking to cause him to smash into him.
