Who said anything about hacking voting machines?

If you say "I don't think using the services of a foreign spy agency could be considered fair.", I'm obviously going to assume you're retarded enough to think they hacked voting machines.

Based on Trump's rhetoric and policies to date, do you think there will be less or more torture, extra-judicial killings and warrantless electronic spying during his presidency?

Don't see how Democrats can be equated to Trump supporters in your assumption considering that
    1. Obama got a lot of stuff done; granted not everything he or his supporters hoped for, but still was a successful president and
    2. He'd be re-elected easily if he was allowed to.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/donald-trump-dossier-mi6-christopher-steele-russia-documents-alex-younger-a7528681.html

The fallout from Trump's dossier keeps on rolling.

MI6 finally made a public comment on it, stressing that Steele was a good spy and is a good source.
Security sources stress that MI6 had extensive information, British and international, on the Russian threat apart from that of Mr Steele. But they pointed out that he is held in high regard and the contribution he provided was valuable.

The same people will still believe this is 'FAKE news' though.

Difference is Trump is open about what he is and is going to do. He is going to do more than waterboarding, in his own words. Obama on the other hand just lies to people about human rights/civil rights etc.

It was you who delineated those three criteria. I simply responded to your post and asked if you thought Trump would exacerbate your three criteria. Dunno how you extrapolate the stuff about my judging presidents' admirability and the Hitler reference.

So, without lauding or reviling, do you think Trump will make your criteria of spying, torture and killing worse given his rhetoric and policies to date?

What does Obama lie about in terms of civil/human rights?

No it isn't. It is a failure but it is at least a failure of ability. One of his first actions was to sign an executive order to close it. Obviously he failed to get it actually closed. He tried multiple times to close it and was stopped each time. https://en.m.wikisource.org/wiki/Executive_Order_13492

While I feel he should have found a way I also feel more of the blame should go on those who fought t keep it open/opened it/seem to be planning to support it.

I agree on the nsa stuff though the snooping has never been as relevant to this thread about Trump. Trump has been largely silent on the issue AFAIK.

The prosecuting whistle blowers seems like a misleading statistic. Were previous administrations letting them go or did he simply have more to deal with?

I don't support open borders so I don't see an issue with Obama deporting them. I see issues with Trump's rhetoric around the subject/trying to get rid of toon many too soon. Blaming them for increased crime rates could cause violence. Then you have humanitarian issues around families that I don't trust Trump with.

Don't forget the new found love for the American Intelligence services, namely the CIA and the belief that Russia is some all powerful entity which have basically elected its own candidate, all with no proof what so ever mind.

Obama was told 4 years about about Russian intentions. Now its the role reversal that Russia is the new Nazi Germany. Very convenient now that Obama is in his last days no?

One of the reasons to welcome trump is that liberals will notice America doing bad things. Maybe Yemen will get a mention.

WRONG..... It’s precisely because Obama has been more transparent than all the other presidents that it “looks like” he deported millions while in FACT......

“Expulsions of people who are settled and working in the United States have fallen steadily since his first year in office, and are down more than 40% since 2009” (this is from 2014)

    http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-obama-deportations-20140402-story.html

The real story here is that during his admin they started counting all the 100,000’s “catch and release” Mexicans etc that they pick up in the border area and just bussed them straight back to Mexico. Previous admins never counted these people for some reason!

I agree that many things will remain the same, though not all. For example, based on his rhetoric and appointments, I expect the lot of the poor to get worse.

The personality of POTUS, whether it's simply a façade or not, does matter greatly. Trump is utterly inexperienced as a politician and seems to believe that he can just bully his policies through. That may possibly work in the US where he wields great power, but a bullying attitude is self-defeating on the international stage.

It is not a question of "admirable". It is a question of do you want more or less abuse of human rights. I want less. Trump boasted that he would deliver more.

It is possible, perhaps even likely, that it doesn't matter what Trump boasted about during the campaign, since he was just talking nonsense and will defer to more informed opinion, like his Security advisers. This should help prevent his "more torture" ideas, but it will not prevent mass spying or drone strikes on kill-list targets in foreign parts, since everyone in Washington, top to bottom, seems to think those are cool.

Perhaps. I expect the trend to accelerate. Actually, I think there isn't much that Trump could do about looming job losses, for instance, as automation and AI are coming down the tracks and they won't be stopped.

That's just a whole lot of unsubstantiated nonsense. President elect Trump is not a normal candidate. Yesterday, he accused the director of the CIA of leaking an intel document to the media. Making comparisons with Obama (or any other president) are not reasonable here not withstanding how unfounded yours are.

How much of this would be Obama and how much would be the GOP-controlled houses exactly?

The same people will still believe this is 'FAKE news' though.

It is fake because no one, and I mean no one has verified any of its content.
Mr Clapper pointed out that what he had actually said was that the intelligence service “has not made any judgement that the information in this document is reliable”.

That doesn't make it fake, it makes it unverified.

It could be true, it could be false or it could contain some semblance of truth.
