Not much messing around to be done.......download VPN app, pick a country, check for update, download update, pause update, disconnect from VPN, resume download.....voila!

7 steps, or wait and click update when it appears itself :)

(joking really, If it were a major release i;d probably have done it, but there was nothing in this that got me too excited so i was happy enough to wait)

My battery life seems to have improved hugely since I got the update last night.

I'm thinking the same and so far (touch wood) I've not had a single reset where I was having multiple daily before. ]

One thing I've noticed is that chrome has froze on me a few times, but you just kill the app, reopen and it's fine.

Probably a bit early to say that.

Out of curiousity, what screen on times were ye getting before? and now?

Go into settings battery and then screen and you will see your screen on time.

OK, once I get a full charge I'll reset it and check.

Updated this morning. By now I'd usually have 50-60% battery left and I'm currently on 80℅ with more usage than normal...

    Wow.

Yeah I'm usually down to 50% or so by now and it's at 76%.

    I'm at 44%.

I have never gotten to this point in the day/early morning where it's that high. It's usually dead or hovering around 10% by now.

The update is a massive improvement. Still no restarts at all.

I've had the chrome freezing issue maybe 5 times though.

Battery was just getting back to lasting a decent length of time and then the update came and seems to have killed it again. Anyone else notice this?

My battery is probably twice as good after the update.

I'm getting weather report notifications from one plus now. Anyone know how to turn them off?

Same as. They're not annoying me too much but I got the same wind warning like 3 times the other day.

Try settings, notifications, scroll down to weather, select and then select block all.

Yes, getting terrible battery life - heres a screenshot of the battery drain overnight, with no screen time at all:

I reflashed back to version 3.1.0 again, following the instructions here, and performance is much better again

When texting or posting on boards my keyboard is now grey/white instead of black. How do I change it back?

    Settings
    Language and input
    SwiftKey keyboard

Themes and stuff are kept there.

You can hit the three lines at the top left of the keyboard too, then go to More->Themes

Just a heads up, my alarm didn't go off during the week. Well it did but no noise or vibration, lucky my body clock woke me for work. Might be a bug with the new update, I had the settings checked and it had worked, has only happened once so far.

Hmmm interesting this happened to me and I just assumed I never set it... This was using the timely app though not the one that comes with the phones
