    This is just laughable, literally

These guys are the board - the management of the company to put it into context - and they are listing failure after failure across their business and then telling the lads beneath them to buck up!?!? You couldn't make this up

Rumours around Waterford tonight that an ex intercounty man is on his way to leeside in the new year. If true I'd be disappointed from a Waterford perspective but when McGrath doesn't want him I suppose it's fair game for the player to explore other options if they're made available. He's definitely an addition to ye as he's hurling extremely well at the moment.

Play for Lismore by any chance?

    Jamie Nagle i'd say.

Also heard former Kerry Minor/U21/Junior and UCC Sigerson winning captain Adrian Greaney has transferred to Nemo?

Very much doubt it's Jamie Nagle. He works down around Waterford City in a school, wouldn't make much sense. Ray Barry possibly but I've heard no such rumours myself I must say.

Have to admit there are quite a few of these names are unfamiliar to me. Perhaps (hopefully) some names for the future.

Looks like the lightest half forward line I've seen in a senior team in a long time

that team looks a lot like a play for another two years in charge `rebuilding`

The real issue is that we're not producing the standard of hurlers required at this level anymore. Nobody at club level is standing up and screaming to be picked ahead of what's already there.

They're playing Kerry in the Munster League on Sunday and apparently that's going to have more of the normal panel.

7 Waterford panelists there and off the very top of my head 4 or 5 that are involved with Cork seniors, hardly very weak?

Paddy Kelly after retiring from intercounty

Very talented player but never really kicked on after 2010, albeit he was hampered by injuries.

Panelists being the key word apart from Barron. The cork seniors are cat so you can strike all but Cadogan out of it.

No marquee forwards of years gone by. You're relying on, by the looks of it, Rob O'Shea to do the scoring there from frees.

Having said that, i think they're in the semis of the league. They look to be missing John Power and Michael Breen who are in LA and Miami with Tipp and KK. By the looks of it, Mark O'Connor and Tom Devine are missing there too.

That's a far from weak panel! Throw in the lads missing and it's a serious outfit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 107 ✭✭It makes sense

Well the weak UCC panel had to much for the up and coming cork panel was at match UCC far to strong for cork Cadogan stand out player as for UCC that was a strong panel considering fellows missing and 4/5 lining out for Cork on the night.

In fairness minus 3 or 4 that cork team was the U21 team who would normally play fresher teams at this time of year. Step up was obvious. Sunday will be a bigger test. Looking forward to seeing Michael Cahalane play. Great story.

Still a lot of last years panel still considered, Mc Donnell Burke Lawton and Cooper, not nowhere near good enough even to be panellists, why not give Eoin Murphy from Erins Own a tryout? they need to look at the players that were in form
