I'm gonna be a bit meaner this year. Unless someone has earned my trust, they are not getting the benefit of the doubt from me and I'm making less effort with people that I don't know well.

Over and just before Christmas, two newish "friends" let me down and one was quite two faced which was hurtful. Plus, I was out recently and kindly danced with an old man who asked me as I was passing the dance floor. I was just being nice and having a bit of craic and later some insane woman of about 40 who wasnt even with the man, approached me at the bar and started berating me and trying to make it sound like I was some kind of granda seducing Anna Nicole Smith ffs. I am still kicking myself that I didn't just tell her to go fcuk herself. Hopefully for her, she doesn't meet me in 2017!

Also eat right, exercise, read more etc.

I always walked for exercise but last year I started going to the gym as well 2 days a week and this year want to go more often.

It was tough at first but when the flabby arms and man tits started do disappear it's great encouragement to keep going.

I'm a bit late to the party at 42 but I guess it's never to late to start.

To eat less red meat and more fish. Reduce the amount of bread eaten.
Take better care of my body - eating less sugar, less alcohol, addressing the wonky bits and shaping up.
