Lads Android Pay has now launched in Ireland - I can't wait to try it but I have One Plus 3 ad it says "Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is android compatible. Any ideas of why this happens or how to fix it?

You've rooted your phone as you said here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=101459461&postcount=1984

App description confirms it wont work with rooted phones here.

Unroot your phone if you want to use it.

Any ideas for additional cables? Dash cables seem excessive in price. Are there alternative options?

Got my 3T today. For some reason it's not letting me connect to Gmail, it says "Gmail is having trouble with Google play services..."

I've looked it up and others saying to stop Google Play Services via Settings > Apps, but the buttons are greyed out.

    Any ideas?

Edit: just did a factory reset and it's sorted.

I had the same issue, it took a few factory resets but eventually it worked.

Got mine too, just noticed i've to get a nano sim, whats the benefit of the two sim slots? also, will i be able to use my old phone which needs a micro sim? So far only used the usual apps on it but the sound and picture are great. Games look like they run smooth on it. Can anyone more savvy give a little rundown of things that this phone is capable of over a €100 phone? I've a little justification to do to the other half for splashin out.

My case arrived yesterday and it's really good, thanks to those who recommended it on here.

Spigen Rugged Armor OnePlus 3T / 3 Tough Case - Black

    http://ie.mobilefun.com/60331-spigen-rugged-armor-oneplus-3t-3-tough-case-black.htm

Really happy with that case, arrived today after ordering on Wednesday (so 2 days to deliver). It's going to replace the rosewood case I bought from OP with the phone.

Any recommendations for a screen protector to go with this case?

Probably should have thought of that before buying your own one!

    Let's see:

    Dash charging
    Larger battery
    Larger memory
    Better camera
    5ghz WiFi
    Fingerprint reader
    6gb of ram
The ability to not completely **** itself as a phone after a couple of weeks.

Yeah worth it IMO, and delivered in less than 2 today via standard mail makes it all the better.

    From the link:
Q: Does this cable support DASH charging on the Oneplus 3?
A: The BigBlue Type C cable can charge Oneplus 3 device but is not compatible with the DASH charging system. So it will still charge at a normal speed.

I have an English sim in my second slot because I travel over there a lot. Some people use them for work Sims or additional data they cant get on their networks etc.

You can get a little adapter set that will hold your nano SIM and enable it to fit in all of the bigger SIM card slots. I paid 1.50 for it in cash Encounters when I got them to cut my SIM down to Nano size with their little implement thingy. They didn't charge for that but I'm friendly with them having worked next door so I'm not sure if they'll do that for everybody.

Quick one guys, might have been answered already.

Do one plus charge as soon as the order is placed or when it is shipped?

Still a 4 week wait so wouldn't mind ordering if wasn't going to be charged for another few weeks.

Can the two sims be active at the same time? Or do I have to select which one I want to use?

Yes, both can be active at the same time.

    Thanks^^

Something I've noticed - when I'm searching for a contact before making a call, all the listings appear twice in the list. They don't seem to be duplicated in the alphabetical list, only when I'm typing their name into the dial pad

Saw someone say something earlier. Do people expect a decent sell on value with the 3t in a few years providing its near mint. Most lower level phones are worth nothing after a few years

I know someone selling a near mint OPO and looking for 200. I think that's ambitious but I'm keeping an eye on it to see what it goes for out of curiosity.

I expect to save a fortune by giving my wife this one and paying for a new one when she inevitably breaks the Galaxy S5 in an Otterbox I gave her. I bought her a Moto G. She dropped and broke it while reading horror books on the Kindle app when I walked out to the garden she was sitting in and scared her purely by appearing. I bought her a Redmi 2 that worked great up until she dropped it on a main road at rush hour and it got run over possibly tens of times in the half hour it took to find it. Could still receive calls and transfer data but the screens were bollixed!

But I digress, resale value... I'd be interested to know myself.
