^ I've had two items as 'Preparing for dispatch' for the last two days.. so wouldn't suprise me if they went the same way...

Ordered a bouncy castle, indoor version for £41, described as open box, got it today and the box was indeed opened but the box was in bad shape, had stickers all over it and it was dirty, got on to Amazon to complain, they offered to have me return it and they would pay the return costs or I could keep it and the would refund me 20%, I went with the refund and managed to get the stickers off using wd40.

Just picked up a Dune Solo 4K for £100 in "Used - Good" condition. Almost a third of the price. Hope it's not in bits now.....

Have just been on again to Amazon and now they tell me that the item did not include cables, manuals or Ink but there is nothing in the descriptions that mention this. I think I have just been very unlucky and they are refusing to do anything about it. Also I have been on to the call centre in Jamaica and they are not that helpful.

Take a screenshot of the item description (to show that it does not mention what is missing) and the email Amazon customer care with this explaining that the item received was not as described. You can threaten to take this further using the Sale of Goods act in your defence as the item you received is not as described so you are fully entitled to a refund at no cost to yourself here. If you paid by credit card you can also make sure this payment is queried to cover yourself if you are not getting anywhere with Amazon.

Hope so. Mine was perfect when it arrived. Refurbished allegedly but it looked new out of the box to me.

The only trick was setting it up as I need to do a full reset on it to allow a bluetooth connection. Just hold down power and - volume button till you hear a drum sound. That would seem to indicate it had been used previously but very little sign of it.

This PS4 bundle was £249 yesterday, bit of an increase today. I got the deal with Steep for £20 extra so £270 all in. Still good value with the 20% off the regular 3 game pack.

My JBL Charge 3 for £88 arrived today too. Was marked "Very good" quality.

The thing has never been opened. Warehouse deals is my first port of call from now on I reckon.

Collected this earlier and it looks pretty much perfect, although I didn't get a chance to open it yet. The box is perfect and the seals look to be the originals. Apart from the warehouse sticker on the bottom it could pass for new.

Picked up another HD141X Projector, like new this time. My parents were pretty impressed with mine so I bought them one for Christmas.

£308, sealed, never opened, a tiny 2 inch dent on the box that was it.

grabbed a warehouse version of the 55" hisense yesterday and hadn't enough funds on my revolut card for the transaction, decided that I would cancel and try for a 50" instead and they are telling me I can't cancel and to return it. Surely they won't ship without payment.
I could call them but tempted to see how it unfolds!

Just open a Chat window.. no need to ever phone Amazon

(plus you have an email record of the conversation in case of problems later on)

Be interested to hear what you think of it. Want to get something to pair my dot with and am much more inclined to go for this than the UE Boom 2

Are the warehouse deals slow to ship in general? Mine has been going nowhere for a few days, hoping the feckers don't cancel it.

It was down to be dispatched yesterday, didn't happen, now it's down as Dispatching Soon

Sound is superb. Bass is pretty incredible and acoustics have nice clarity to them.

I can't really compare it to the UE Boom 2 as I don't have one, but a video posted up by another member recently sort of converted me over to the JBL

It's bass is off the charts if that's important to you

What size screen did you buy or are you just using a wall?

Cheers. Yeah I subscribe to that guys channel, thats what pointed me more towards the Charge 3 than the Boom 2.

Just a wall at the moment, but I'm going to buy a 100 inch screen, need to do some other bits first to the room, screen will be last.

    My warehouse item arrived..

.. actual Amazon packaging had a massive hole in the box piercing all the way through the box inside... and they threw in a box for a Lego PS4 game - inside the box for the actual warehouse item itself! :D

Item seems OK though spend 20 minutes trying to get a scale to calibrate over lunch with no luck.. all items came with it though (Cocktail Shaker, Scale and Tablet Stand).

Let's hoping I can get it to work later - hoping I don't need to return the pissing thing.

Received a crushed box from Amazon this morning and the item inside was damaged. Have to find time to go to the PO now and pay probably €15+ for tracked shipping to Scotland. Hopefully yours is alright.

Free returns to Dublin was the one good thing Amazon did for Irish customers and they go and ruin it.

Yeah, think I'll be close to making a loss by posting it back practically..

Can't you claim back the postage costs?

Microwave just arrived at the house a few minutes ago, Missus says it looks perfect, only for the sticker she would not have known
