If they were sold and fulfilled by Amazon, you should be able to return them hassle free and at no cost.
All you have to do is print out the return label.
I have never been able to do that on ebay.
I only find ebay good for some small or hard to find hardware or laptop parts, and to compare their prices against the Chinese stores that sell all sorts of crap. Often ebay is cheaper than them.

Wait around for courier, unpack broken ****e, photograph, repackage, fill in return form, print return label, drive to the post office, queue in the post office, drive home again, find an item thats actually in one piece, wait around for courier part 2. It was a big waste of time for me.

Free returns from Ireland are gone. Return labels require shipping costs to be paid which will be partially or fully refunded based on circumstances

Is it more or less a sit and wait job till a tv pops up?

Pretty much, I search the warehouse for tvs between 40-55 inch. Refresh every once in a while, seems to get updated every two hours or so and most good tvs seem to be up for about an hour before somebody buys

This is the search I use:

That's not true. I recently bought large electrical kitchen item from amazon.de warehouse in 'like new' condition.
It arrived heavily used with scratches all over and broken - requiring repair.
I had to print return label, pack it, look myself for couriers shipping to Germany, get the quote, email amazon.de with quote for postage, get their approval of the price, wait for courier, send amazon a copy of receipt and only then I was reimbursed for postage.
I'm not sure if all that hassle worth the saving. I'd buy it again, but this time brand new.

Its been true for me anyway so unlucky, even as recently as last week returning an item, which was a large 42" TV, I got a prepaid free label.

And any time ive sent anything back to amazon uk and had to pay the postage, its just been send a quick camera phone pic of the receipt from An Post and a refund of the cost in a few days. no big deal and not as much hassle as your making out to be. Im sure An Post deliver to germany so why go the route of couriers.

Beware, you might receive earphones with some nasty surprises in the ear plugs...*vom*

Its more common than you think.
Oh, I'm not worried as unless they're still sealed, I'm getting a refund and this is why..
Please note we are unable to accept returns for in-ear/canal headphones due to hygienic reasons.

I ordered that and a decent 24AWG USB cable to bring it up to Super Saver Delivery.. so provided my cocktail maker is in good nick, i'm happy.

Well I got two more items, Playstation Gold Headset was bought in a like new condition, the outer box was in bits but the innnerbox and the headphones themsleves were mint. Also got a disney traditions statue, the box was opened but everything else was perfect, that was in a very good condition state.

For the playstation headset I contacted amazon and told them about the box and the gave me a £7.50 credit back so all in all I was very happy.

I'm raging that I missed out on that De'longhi that the earlier poster got for -20%. I'm looking for a decent bean to cup machine and missed out on that!

Keep a eye on the warehouse that's what I was doing for the past month got it for the price I wonted and delighted with if. It was in good condition but it was new plastic all over it and never used ans reg it for free desaxler and free beans on the site as well.

One day with it the coffee is something else compare to a nespresso machine.

    There well worth the money

I take it from your comment that you want to sell it and get rid of it? I'll take it off your hands so. It sounds like you're having an awful time with it! ;)

That said, nearly pulling the trigger on the ESAM4200 as I'm getting impatient.

Did they end this on the European warehouses early? Could have sworn if said until Sunday on them all.

Can you link to the free beans? I don't remember seeing that anywhere when I got it a month ago

Not over, but it is ending. But another offer might take its place on the UK site. There is a new sale available on the German, French and Italian sites offering €30euro off €100euro spend of selected items.
    Links:
    Germany Link

    France Link

    Italy Link

I have not seen it on the Amazon UK site yet.

I did not know that. Is it anything to do with the Amazon Warehouse opening here?
I have not needed to return anything in a while, but that is a bit crap. Refund is ok, but surely Amazon have a courier company already on their books.

It's a general De'longhi offer. See their website for information. Certain models are allowed freebies (just check the model number at the bottom of the page).

Sorry I was talking about the general 20% off warehouse promotion this thread is about.

Just received my Nvidia Shield from the warehouse. Mint and everything still in their wrappers/sealed bags. No complaints!

Just from Amazon Warehouse. Tested on two other items about an hour ago and it was working but not working for me now. Maybe there's a limit or it was a glitch.
