    Kane and Hazard in for Aguero and Coutinho.

    Aguero out is a wrench but allows me get Kane this week and Costa next week for their good runs of fixtures. Once Chelsea's run is over can get rid of Alonso and Costa and get Sergio back.

    think getting rid of Aguero is madness, 5 goals and assist in last 4 games.
    Aguero is a season keeper and will always punish those who get rid of him.

    I've quite a similar team and took a few hits lately to get it (-24 over 5 weeks).

    Karius/Pickford
    Brunt, Cedric, Holebas, Amat, Cameron
    Sanchez, Hazard, Firmino, Snodgrass, Capoo.
    Aguero, Kane, Austin.

    I'm tempted to go the same way and drop Sanchez to Theo, or Haz to Pedro to enable a bettee balanced midfield and fit in Siggy who I always wanted from GW15 and now cant afford due to Kane.

    Is Walcott gonna continue to be nailed I wonder? As if so I think sacrificing Sanchez, with a 'Winter Break' on the horizon, and enabling upgrading Snoddy and Holebas to Siggy and Alonso for example, would be worthwhile.

    I don't think Sanchez, Aguero, Kane and Haz in the same team is sustainable coming into Xmas. Anyone think different?

    Such a coin toss as to which player to downgrade. I would have said Sanchez but Giroud's injury means he will stay up top and I do think Walcott is a first 11 player, in Wengers eyes, but he does get taken off later in games.

    Think I'd favour going Hazard to Pedro if I had the choice again.

    Some Sunday night pondering has me thinking this for -4:

    Lukaku -> Kane
    Walcott -> Pedro
    Williams -> Cedric

    It leaves 0.0 in the bank though so would need to do it tonight and a week is a long time in FPL.

    Firminho yellow flagged is also a concern.

    Firmino is grand. FPL just love needless yellow flags.

    Coutinho to:

    A - Walcott
    B - Pedro
    C - Alli

    Thoughts? Have Hazard, Firmino and Siggy already with Fletcher as bench fodder.

    don't see the love for Theo or Ali at all,
    Pedro I believe is value as long as he keeps his place.
    Son is better value than Ali

    Zaha is on some run, perhaps might be late to the party - but he's got an assist In each of the last 5 games + a goal. Going for Zaha also free's up funds if you want a stronger strike force.

    Lukaku or Coutinho out? Only got the 1 FT

    Michael Dawson or Erik Pieters?

    Mid term defensive option. Or anyone under 4.5 that isn't Swansea or Watford or Evans?

    Dawson has potential goals while Pieters could have clean sheets.

    Since Coutinho is injured then him obv, Lukaku is fire/ice type player - could go out and get a hattrick next week.

    Need to make changes tonight due to price changes.

    Zaha, Allen or Moses for 4th mid next few weeks?
    Not Moses cause he uses a Chelsea spot you may need later (for e.g. Alonso, Pedro/Hazard & Costa) and plays in the wrong OOP and his goal this week-end is like WBA's Fletcher one last GW.
    Zaha has better mid-term fixtures than Allen.

    Alli has 3 great home fixtures in the next 4. Walcott is more a long term prospect. Pedro would double Chelsea away to City.

    I'm facing a similar conundrum to help out my missus. She just has Sanchez for your Firmino. With Firmino uncertainty, I'm thinking of a Spurs mid for those fixtures. Getting Kane sounds better but it'd require a £5.1m mid and she already has DeRoon.
    Now it's Alli, Eriksen or Son...

    BTW, why Alli gametime was managed in his last couple of games? Is he back from injury? Rotated because of EL?

    Fabio for boro - hull up next, attacking type player so may get offensive returns as well.

    Looking like Cout & Lukaku out Kane & Siggy in. Really wanted to get Firmino for Cout but cannot afford for the moment...need to shift A. Williams as well

    I'd go clean sheets over attacking returns.

    Alli had a knee injury a few weeks back so has been managed back into the team which poch is notorious for doing. Kane looked close to back to his best already yest so would advise some Spurs coverage next few weeks for sure.

    Zaha has just declared for Ivory Coast
    Assume this means he will be going to AFCON

    Looks like I'll take a -4 to tonight.. Lukuku and Coutinho for Austin and Eriksen (1 match punt). Leaves enough in the bank for Hazard after the city match..

    Why? Spurs & Chelsea have "normal" Christmas fixtures (nothing different than playing Europe midweek). So Kane & Hazard could be fine.

    Then Sanchez will be managed. Aguero too. But Pep will probably rotate a lot during that period.

    Is doubling up on Sanchez and Walcott a good idea or nah

    So would you really favour Kane over Alli or any other Spurs mid even if it means -4 or -8?

    Have not seen Spurs playing for a while bar their non-game in Monaco...

    -4 Fuchs coutinho lukaku to Alonso siggy and Kane.

    Is a double up of Spurs Erikson/Alli & Kane a good option?

    Pedro sounds the best option to me given their upcoming games but double Chelsea mids against Man City doesn't sound that appealing... that being said I just did the transfer anyway!

    I axed Lukaku for Kane the second I saw he blanked again today and will captain him against Swansea for sure.

    All that's left to decide now is whether or not its worth a -4 to axe Williams for Cedric

    Considering the same move myself. It would be for a -4 also. 3 of the next 4 fixtures are away though...

    Think Kane could well be fpl top point scorer next 4-6 GW. Much more encouraging team performance yest and fixtures couldn't be better. Tough to pick a mid as points and starts will prob be shared around. Lamela back soon & nkoudou might get a start n week.

    I am Liverpool less again
    I'll never be signing coutinho again
    had never got sucked in before and despite me warning others about him sucking people in every year before blanking and getting injured I ended up going him over firmino anyway :D
    back to hiding behind the couch again for a few weeks now when they play

    I have myself a captain for next week now though ;)

    Thanks, I'm leaning the same way. I think Sanchez is more essential than Hazard.

    I like Defoe but need the transfer to Austin to fund the rest...unless I do Cech to Forster?

    You could go for that too. I have kosc and they just don't keep enough clean sheets. I'll be shipping kosc when I don't have to ship out injuries

    Thinking
    Hazard and Coutinho out

    Sanchez and Pedro in

    Would like to get rid of Gundagen but I can't spend another day like day behind the couch fearing Sanchez.

    Looked at Everton's fixtures and having watched them today, I decided to sell Lukaku.
    Was short .1 to so had to change keepers. Gundagen survives :(

    -8

    Out:
    Coutinho, Lukaku, Cech

    In:
    Sanchez, Austin, Forster

    Southampton's run is very kind, coupled with Sky's fact today that their first choice back 4 have played together 6 times this season and kept 5 clean sheets. I may consider a double up down the track if I see a Portuguese shaped hole forming in my defence.

    Only really Spurs (H) to worry about until February 25th.

    Have never done a -8. Is it worth it? I have had 3 horrific weeks in a row and I feel it is time i take drastic measures!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    I did:

    Lukaku -> Kane
    Williams -> Barragan

    No hits yet but Barragan was a panic buy as I need sleep and wanted to move before prices changed!

    Everton have Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal in their next 4 though so getting rid of Williams is a foregone conclusion really so did a -4 to get him out there before the inevitable price drops.

    Only second time taking hits this season so far so feel like Deeney > Austin for -8 could happen too
