No Presidential Medal of Freedom for Jon Voight or Clint Eastwood, Ellen deserves one more.

Not even an empty chair for Clint? ;)

It's a good example of the Swamp at work.
Handing out medals to people who campaigned for Hillary .

Trump Foundation has admitted to breaking the law including self-dealing.

Wonder how his supporters will spin this now they can't go bring up the Clinton Foundation (zero evidence it has broken the law) and it is irrelevant now he is president elect.

Asked the Argentinian President for a favour for the Trump Organisation also,
I believe, when he received the customary congratulatory call. :(

Any one can see Trump is the vile and corrupt politican...He has no scrubbles, just spin . Hilary Clinton has no case to answer because if she did the FBI (who destroyed her lead in the polls ) would have prosecuted her or Trump would try and put her in jail ... yet she is guilty of some grave crime when none was found ...On the otherhand Trump has broken the law and no one is promising to put him in prison (yet)

Also can Trump supporters stop referring back to Hilary when Trump does not deliver. Hilary is no longer on the political stage and Obama will be gone soon. Trump needs to perform and deliver . Its not about Hilary anymore

And the bile against Mitchelle Obama who wasn't elected or held office is dreadful and shameful

You dont think Trump isn't going to give medals to his croonies

Geez what propaganda outlet are your representing ...or maybe you just believe all the bull Trump voiced ..he is already trying to get Nigel Farage a job as British Ambassador to the US....which is not his to give or none of his business

Its a new swamp which will be full of all the business men doing favours for Trump and his croonies... ...with those two sharks in it

I see Obama is currently at White House handing out medals of Freedom to celebrities , all of whom opposed Trump
    De Niro
    Ellen
    Tom Hanks
    Bruce Springteen
    It's like a Trump Hate party .

All the losers that had to crawl back in their boxes after helping to get Trump elected.

Farage is now bitching about the cesspit of politics after Downing Street pointed out that there's already a man in the job and even if there wasn't, he wouldn't be first pick (they didn't say the last bit, even Johnson was more diplomatic than that).

Cesspit of politics, huh? Well, it is at the moment, but the answer, same as in the States, is not to hire a swamp salesman to do your garden design!

Really? Tom Hanks doesn't seem too bothered, if what he says here is any guide:

We are going to be all right, because we constantly get to tell the whole world who we are. We constantly get to define ourselves as Americans. We do have the greatest country in the world. We may move at a slow pace, but we do have the greatest country in the world, because we are always moving towards a more perfect Union. That journey never ceases. It never stops. Sometimes, like in a Bruce Springsteen song, one step forward, two steps back. But we still, aggregately, move forward. We, who are a week into wondering what the hell just happened, will continue to move forward. We have to choose to do so. But we will move forward, because if we do not move forward, what is to be said about us?

I love the way that no one on the Trump side had anything to do with his being elected.

This whole Trump Foundation thing might gather pace as reporters slowing start to unravel the complexity of the Corrupt and Fraud Trump. What he will find now is that there is no one he can attack now with childish comments to get away from his scandals. All the media are now fully focused on the Donald now, Hillary is old news so he has double the media coverage and invstigative reporters.

Even Fox News have the story about insider dealing within his foundation as their lead story today, that says a lot....

Good thing fake news wasn't getting more attention on social media than real news.

Don't worry they'll just blame whoever is elected after Trump and is left with a horrific mess to clean up when he or she is unable to deliver 100% turn around in 3 years.

In the meantime they'll blame foreign countries and immigrants on everything and if that doesn't work : the "liberal" media (whatever that us) is the source of all evil.

I like the way they bundle the hyper-partisan sites in with the fake news because it's not like the "real" media were picking sides...

    Was/is she anti-Trump??

    She's been dead since 1992.

Then again, considering the history of elections in the US I wouldn't be surprised if she voted this year.

Is this some other Grace Hopper? As in not the legendary computer scientist who died in 1992?

    Lol!

Wow, '92. I had no idea. I suppose the timeline makes sense but I always had her as permanently old in my head.

They bundled the sites running fake stories in with the sites running fake stories. Kind of makes sense, obviously.

Most Americans don't give a sh*t about Trump university. They voted for jobs, pretty simple.

Are we talking about the Grace Hopper who was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of freedom this week? The pioneering computer scientist and educator, who rose to the rank of Rear Admiral in the US Navy, who was buried with full military honours in Arlington National Cemetary, and had a warship named after her? I'm having difficulty imagining why anyone would object to the latest honour, just one of many bestowed on her during and after her lifetime.

In liberal land nobody cares about jobs, it's all about transgender bathrooms.

Why were people who don't care about political corruption shouting lock her up? Don't think locking her up will create jobs.

I feel like your argument is nonsensical because of this

No transgender bathroom ever put a loaf of bread on the table or paid the rent or the heating. People must be so f*cking dumb to actually think the majority of American voters who voted for Trump actually give a sh*t about any of that bollocks.

Does that mean that in rightwing conservative land nobody cares if people scam others out of their hard earned money ?
