Top Trump aide Kellyanne Conway said Tuesday on MSNBC that Trump would not appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton’s emails or family foundation.

“When the president tells you he doesn't wish to pursue the charges, it sends a strong message,” Conway said in an interview on MSNBC's Morning Joe. “I think Hillary Clinton still has to face the fact that a majority of Americans don't find her to be honest or trustworthy, but if Trump can help her heal, perhaps that's a good thing.”
“Look, I think he's thinking of many different things as he prepares to become the president of the United States, and things that sound like the campaign are not among them,” Conway said Tuesday.

    lolza.

Giuliani was on cnn last week and he was pretty adamant they were going after her so its only been a recent change of heart. It was a complete waste of time anyway. What did they hope to find that the Republican headed fbi or congress were not able to find.

To the surprise of no-one the trump foundation has been caught self-dealing http://www.wsj.com/articles/donald-trumps-foundation-engaged-in-self-dealing-irs-filing-shows-1479829984

The irony that trump supporters accused the highly accredited Clinton foundation of dirty dealings when in reality they should have been looking much closer to home

I doubt that many people voted on the basis of the emails. I would see the reasons being as follows :

    1. Obama was useless
    2. So is his wife
    3. Everybody is broke
    4. Bruce Springsteen. Yeah that really was going to help the starving.
    5. Tim Kaine. A horrific person.

    Etc

Yet he delivered or reached compromise on over 70% of his campaign promises despite a Congress whose sole purpose was to try and block him on everything possible, even things they previously were in favour of, and early last year was seen as the 18th best president out of 43 putting him as above average (which would have only improved since then, seeing his approval ratings), and a record 75+ straight months years of job growth. It's funny how quickly people forget how things were in early 2009.

Going to be fun to see how Trump stacks up when he is done, or gets the boot. Sure only today his campaign manager basically outright said much of what he was calling for before the election was a lie. What's your thoughts on that?

Because it's not a parochial news broadcaster or at least tries not to be and covers international news.

As the leading story? nearly everyday, I in Portugal and I watch news here and in Spain and Donald don't get the same coverage as RTE gives him.

I have RTE now on player and there still going on about him.

After loosing the election, they should have realised they don't fool everyone with their spin, yet the media is still hell bent on spinning as much Trump hysteria as possible. They still don't get the fact the more hysterical their portrayals of Trump, the more the ordinary person realises they are a vested, controlled interest, and not impartial as they should be.

Maybe not, but it's only one of many things he has already crawled back from once winning the election.

Next up will be The Wall™ (which has already been downgraded to a fence I believe).

Jesus people calling Obama bad honestly have no clue about politics or have very short memories. Led the US out of the recession wuthering unprecedented job growth.

Fount tooth Nd nail for all his policies even though he was blocked left right and center and still got 70% of them through.

    Yup real bad

Whatever about the rest of the asinine rubbish, why would anyone bring Michelle Obama up? She has no executive role.

It just smacks of racial hatred to me.

    And low.

But only to be expected from the right...

There's some nasty stuff out there about Michelle Obama. God knows why, she seems like a nice, well-spoken and intelligent woman - oh, that's probably why. "Ape in heels" was one from last week, and some bizarre Alex Jones theory that the idiots ...at least repeat, I find it hard to think that they could actually -believe- it that she's a transvestite who murdered Joan Rivers (?!)

Once it was considered deeply dishonourable to go after the wife/family of your "enemy". Nowadays it seems to be expected.

Don't be simplistic. His wife is a
reminder of the celebrities that were wheeled out to try and lie to the middle classes. What policies did she have ? None.

And I would love to see her run in 2020. Trump would crush her.

I suspect it's the same people that refer to Hillary Clinton as "Bill's wife".

Her comments regarding living in a "house built by slaves" came across as race baiting during a time of really low race relations. Its also pretty sad only Trump has come out asking people to calm down in regards to the violence of some protesters yet not a word from Obama or Clinton.

She didn't hold any executive role, so I don't understand why you keep saying this. She wasn't required to have policies, any more than Melania Trump is required.

She did design and promote a programme to fight childhood obesity (Let's Move). Plus, she conducted herself with a hell of a lot of dignity and style in the face of racism.

The double standards and hypocrisy are rife, the very same people would be the first to start whining if anyone else protested and refused to accept a democratic election result.

So he's not going to jail Hillary, he's not going to scrap Obamacare and now he's started his u-turn on global warming. He's going to row back on everything he promised during the election. Good for those who didn't vote for him, but he's going to leave a lot of pissed off people when they realise he's just the same as the other politicians.

Why would Trump go after Clinton? Her reputation is in the dirt now, she is finished as a political opponent now and the future. He beat her easily and did it by running the greatest political maneuvering I have ever seen.

Why would Trump go after Clinton?

Because he promised the people who voted for him that he would.

Or maybe, just maybe, that was a lie.

He wanted to win, and he did win. Trump has no power to prosecute her anyway.

How do you equate someone referring to the runner-up in the US Presidential elections as "Bill's wife" with racial slurs against Michelle Obama?

    Orange pilled.

He wanted to win, and he did win. Trump has no power to prosecute her anyway.

So why did he promise that he would? Was he lying? Did he intentionally mislead the people who voted for him?

My reading of the situation is that Hillary has committed crimes and they want her in jail for any old reason kinda like Al Capone for being a member of an organized crime syndicate they tried to get him and in the end he went to jail on tax evasion.
