I'd say hes praying for a good nights sleep looks like he hasnt slept in days, this is probably gonna be the most watched mma fight ever Conor is used to it not sure Eddie will be his usual self,

He will be shooting from the bell regardless.

    Logically yes.

I think he'll come out head-down swinging. The intensity in that arena is going to be something else. Conor is used to it from his last 4 fights. I think he comes out swinging and looks to take Conor down towards the middle of the round.

Eddie 100% was rattled. The fact he couldn't even string a sentence together proves he's been broken, and probably by the fans more than Conor

Channeling adrenaline in the McGregor show is really hard to do. Conor, himself, went in against Chad way too amped up looking to tear his head off. Look how that went.... yeah he got the win thanks to his left hand but he spent 60% of that fight on his bum eating elbows.

He learned from that in the Aldo fight and came in cold and calm. Then it went out the window again with Diaz 1, came in looking to tear the head off him. I really think Diaz 2 was a turning point. I think he's finally learned the value of energy/cardio and the days of him going in too hyped up are over.

I feel for the walk-out tomorrow he'll do his trademark wonky smile to the cameras but he won't be in the Octagon throwing capoeira kicks showing off before the fight starts.

Manic controlled aggression Paul O' Connell style is what i expect from Conor and i expect Eddie to run at him swinging and then settle down into some wrestling after 2 or 3 minutes (if he's still standing).

I can't understand why they didn't make Kennedy v Gastelum. Ok, it would have sent out the wrong message to reward unprofessionalism..... but on the flip side, Kennedy worked hard to make weight and Gastelum was up around 181lbs so it would have at least got him a good fight with someone in shape.

Cowboy and Kennedy - team-mates, friends, Trump supporters ...having their parade rained on big time! They might as well go get hammered for the weekend i suppose :D

Do you feel less confident about the guillotine prediction now you've seen the weigh-ins and shenanigans? Buying into the "Eddie is rattled"?

Not at all, more positive in anything.
It's a 25/1 long shot, I believe there's value in it but not predicting it will happen over a TKO.
But if Eddie is rattled and desperate, he's more likely to make mistakes. Either sloppy head position, or stays standing gets rocked, messes up a desparate shot, a la Conor, Cain and countless others

The thing that annoyed me most was he missed weight; got an easy fight at 185; hired a nutritionist, made 170, taught he could do it all on his own again and missed weight. Did the other two times not tell you you couldnt stay out of mcdonalds unless somebody holds your hand. Hes a dope.

Just to wrap up the height debate, taking footwear out of the equation. Wrestling stance, angles, upright etc etc

They are both listed as 5'9", and maybe neither of them are.
But regardless of the actual number, here they are in their bare feet. Conor is taller than Eddie, by an inch, or near enough as makes no matter.

Joanna just comes across like a right bi*ch. Some fighter though so I guess she has that going for her.

She really seems to have ratcheted things up the last couple of fights. Would love to see Karolina give a good account of herself but can't see anything other than her coming out of this with her face mangled to bits.

A lot of it is for show I'd say. Shur weren't the two of them at the Polish embassy together the other day all friendly and a few hours later Joanna is headshoving her at the media staredown.

Unless McGregor closes it with a guillotine on the first attempted head push to fence by Eddie then I doubt that will happen. I reckon Eddie will try that tactic in the first round for sure, maybe even from the off. But I see McGregor making a good finish attempt which will scare off that tactic from Eddie.

    Can't.
    Wait.

Ah it's all for show of course! I wish more of what we'd seen from them in embedded was them spouting in Polish. Just seems/sounds like a really aggressive language!

Just watched Embedded 5. Eddie doesn't look too flustered behind the scenes. Was laughing with his crew after the press conference. Different story in front of Conor and the fans but we'll see. So that's five Embeddeds and Weidman didnt feature once. Tough on the guy. The forgotten man of 205.

There seemed to be a few McGregor altercations at the weigh ins. That said, hard to read anything into that as regards his mindset. He lost the rag at the Diaz presser and still came out and followed the game plan to a T.

Haven't been this excited since I knew there was a Sega Mega Drive waiting under the Christmas tree 25 years ago.

    Stomach is in knots.

Probably asking each other is there anywhere decent for lunch and how the weather was.

I laughed at that. Not a chance they're the same height.

Just watched it too and right around 3:15 when conor walks in and says "sorry I'm late ..." it cuts to eddie and he can be heard saying "did he say it" shows how contrived the whole thing is but it's entertaining nonetheless
