When, it comes to Russia he is Chamberlain. He won't pick a fight with someone who can punch back. He will instead probably do something like try and tear up the Iran nuclear deal or something stupid like that instead, to portray himself as a hard man.

The simple fact that the new president said that it's ok to grab a woman by the pussy is scary. The fecker admitted to sexual assault and still got voted in.

Thousands of German women were grabbed by the pussy on New Year eve in Koln and as far as i know, nobody was arrested. So it's ok now, not just in US but in EU as well.

Well, Trump's not easy to predict so I'm willing to give him a chance before even thinking of dismissing him. Time (not the magazine) will decide what kind of president he will be.

First Lady will be Melania Trump. Not Bill Clinton. What a shame.

Because you tell me I'm doing something...............has zero effect on me whatsoever.

Do you think Trump has embarassed himself saying 'you can grab pussy whenever you want'.?

Do you think men have embarrassed themselves on here saying 'let's grab loads of pussy', and 'the pussening'.

    If not, you're a hypocrite.

Except he wants to rip up the agreement with Iran so they might get a nuke pretty soon. If they get near it then he'll probably attack.

As for Russia. They've been given carte blanch to do whatever they want in Ukraine. And they might decide they want bits of Estonia too. Trump has said he doesn't want to see the US involved in NATO to the extent they currently, so if Russia decides they want a part of the EU then what's to stop them?

The 500-odd nuclear weapons sitting in French and British arsenals?

Look at this. Wouldn't it just make you sick.

    http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSR4N1D800D

That's tyrant, dictator, criminal and warmonger Vladimir Putin talking about restoring relations with the US while his country still illegally occupies Ukrainian soil.

I'm not optimistic about Trump but I hope he's half the strong man he claims to be and makes those words turn to ash in Putin's mouth.

That's only going to be the start. He'll continue to push into Ukraine now that Trump is in charge in the US.

Tearing up the Iran nuclear deal would be a ****ing disaster...

But yeah I can totally see him doing it. Let's hope Congress puts him on a leash.

He already got the Crimea, and none of those Nukes were much good there. Maybe he will take the rest of the Ukraine soon.

    Three reasons:

Statistical methodology for the vast majority of polls was shìt. Whether that was due to incompetence/cost/conspiracy theory rigging I don't know.

People don't want to be seen as racist/misogynistic/homophobic so they lie about being Trump supporters. Social desirability bias.

Trump supporters came out in larger numbers than predicted/designed for in the polls and Clinton supporters came out in smaller numbers than predicted/designed for in the polls.

    Since when ?

Just googled and he's got permanent residency. I remembered him doing bits on the daily show back in 2008 about it. In my head I thought it was citizenship[ he was applying for back then.

As a side note, in my googling I found out that in 2008 when the writers strike was on he wasn't allowed to strike as it would have placed him in violation of his visa and he would have been deported.

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote.

Quirk of the Electoral College system. This is the 5th presidential election where the popular vote winner didn't win the presidency. Bit mad really. Electoral College had a necessary function but today it's an archaic system. Candidates can ignore vast swathes of the pupoulous and most spending/campaigning goes into the same handful of swing states every four years.

There clearly not. Still just because there not in, doesn't mean they don't matter.

Firstly: Did anyone say that it's ok to grab anyone by the pussy anywhere in the world?

Secondly: I guess you'd be ok with a sexual assaulter in Cologne running germany. They'd get your vote right? ;)

When you look at how American elections go, it makes you very grateful for the proportional representation system in Ireland. Really in the US, if you don't like in Florida or a handful of other states, your vote means nothing and again you see that the majority of people can vote for one candidate, yet they'll still lose.

Far politer than Trump and his supporters ;), as some of them actually were you know KKK.

    Now speaking of the KKK:
Former KKK leader David Duke: 'We won it for Donald Trump'

Yeah I'm sure an organisation with less than 5,000 members swang the election.

Turns out it was the rigged system that put Trump into power :P.

The only reason Khamenei agreed to the deal in the first place is because he feared the sanctions would bring down the entire theocracy they had built. In the long-run, tearing up that nuclear agreement might be the more stable thing to do in the region.

It stops the Saudis/Qataris/Emirates/Egyptians/Turks from saying "Iran got to enrich uranium, we want the same deal".

I was thinking that this morning. Bush didn't get the popular vote in 2000. He did in 2004. Obama did both times. So from the last 5 elections we have republicans winning three times but only winning the popular vote once.
