I basically listen to nothing aside from OTB anymore.

    I'm the same.

I hope D'Arcy is listening to this interview. Looks like Rayser mightn't to live to 150 on his diet of porridge, quinoa and black pudding with a poached egg on top.

Really painful listening on now. George trying to get the "girls" outraged but they are taking it in their stride. I think the women back in the newstalk studios play along more with George.
He said all women in Ireland support Clinton cause she is a woman.

Is George not supporting trump anymore? he still tips him to win but he has rolled back on support for his policies

Jaysus this is like pulling teeth. Do these women realise that frowning and looking down your nose doesnt work on radio.

I agree George met his match with today's "girls" as oppose to the others that play along with him on the usual Friday 1:30 slot.

Fair dues to NT though, they have George Hook and Chris Donoghue in the US working their normal slots, it's so flawless that you'd think they were in the studio in Dublin. I think RTE could take a lesson or two from them, especially given that NT operate on a far lower budget. Given that High Noon is a live show, Hook would start the show at 7am local time. Chris doing a good job co-presenting from US as well.

I've stood up for hook before but I think he's just about done now. Crying about America again.

Micheal graham then cam on and contradicted his pc liberal rant. Hook has really gone off the boil when graham is more reasonable than him.

George even got a dig into de valera:D

He's right about Fintan O'Toole though, the most pious self-righteous man in Ireland.

Well there was a woman on the morning Ireland panel crying that Trump won. It's good to have a bit of balance.

It is balance but both of them should be a bit balanced in themselves. Watching the hillary camp on telly was like when Germany beat Brazil 7-1. The camera men were looking for the crying faces, that iconic image of someone in tears.

I am really weirded out that I am agreeing with Micheal Graham so much. loads of people dont like clinton or trump

    Linda O'Shea Farren

    http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/farren-height-to-reach-new-level-as-bill-drops-by-for-bite-to-eat-26332335.html

Former Wall Street attorney, Ballsbridge socialite, failed local election candidate (guess which party...) charity queen, and friend of the Clintons.

I don't think it was so much her friend she was crying for, Hillary is tough as boots. I assume she was crying as her potential ambassadorship, and a life in Washington, vanished in a sea of red states at around 4am this morning.

Hook talks such unadulterated shyte at times...stick to being wrong about rugby george you are out of your depth here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,105 ✭✭✭Vorenus400

To be fair to Enda, I think Hook was gunning for him no matter what he did. Was there a big falling out between Enda and George?

Lol at george doing his usual pick the other side routine and gets it right for the first time ever... such an arrogant man... now he gets to wax lyrical as if he has a notion.

George Hook is now only the 2nd worst person on this show. Takes some doing to top George. People voted how she didnt like so they are stupid.

Absolutely laughing out loud at this woman on now. Ridiculous comments.

According to Brenda not voting for a woman candidate is sexist pure and simple

I thought the poor kid looked scared. Very unfair to have a pot shot at him. She's squawking and squawking and looking for somebody to blame.

I imagine she had a congratulatory glass ceiling smashing piece ready for print this morning and now it has to be reworded.:D

It fairly shut Hook up about Haiti!
