    Nice one.

I don't know if the kids have ever watched Kung Fu Panda but f**k it, the price is right.

    Nice one.

I am no longer a Sky TV customer, but still have them for the phone and broadband. Also use my box for Free TV.

I remember it wouldn't allow me to watch stuff I paid for before on the box once my sub lapsed so I imagine this will be the same when I get home.

I went through the hoops there, it wanted my card details and a PIN set up, which I didn't have to do the last time we got the freebies, but it all seemed to go through fine and dandy, and said the DVD would be shipped at release date. Also allowing me to stream It online. I wonder if the last 2 are available like that also, I must check as that could be handy when out and about with the iPad :)

    Thanks again OP.

Edit, just checked, and only this DVD is available to watch online :(

Edit 2. It seems I got the previous 2 through my sky box so that would explain why I had to enter card details etc this time. Probably also the reason why the first 2 aren't in my skystore library.

I cant seem to get it.
I have the app, Kung Fu Panda is there but I cannot search for ice age.

The link above brings me to an invalid web page?

You dont need to be a sky customer to receive this dvd, simply create a skyid, it will allow you to purchase snd receive the dvd.

I did it last year and just did it again there now

Same as the Kung Fu Panda and Rio deals before it. If you're a Sky customer you can get a free HD download of Ice Age 4 and a DVD in the post.

    Nice find Niko...

Definitely not too good to be true, they've had this offer twice before. Same thing, free HD download and a free DVD in the post. I suppose it's a way to mine user details so they'd (hopefully, from Sky's point of view) buy something in future.

Won't let me proceed without entering card details and I'm a sky TV customer. I never had to do that before. I'll try it on the sky box later.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,787 ✭✭✭cletus

I had to enter card details last year, showed up on my statement, still came in at 0.00

My card actually got blocked as a security measure as a result of this. I've emailed in a complaint about this now. Not OP's fault, but terrible security issue from sky.

On screen referred to price of €0.00 but email received says "Just so you know, a charge of €16.99 will be added to your Sky TV bill on the day of the official digital release".

    Any one else get this?
