    Hi Guys,

I got my oneplus 3 a couple of day ago. Pretty happy with it bar my mobile data being very slow and less network coverage than my last phone with the same provider, Virgin mobile. My last phone was an iPhone 5. Anyone else having this issue and if they are how did they solve it? Cheers.

Did you set up the correct APN settings?

Yes I spoke to virgin media and they talked me through it. Said everything was fine on their side. They said just enter Virgin Media Ireland where it says 'Name' and internet where it says 'APN'. Nothing else.

Dropped the phone yesterday and smashed the screen so will need a new phone sooner than expected. Was looking at the OP3 but was going to wait to see if the one with LCD screen came out. May not be able to wait now.

Anyone have issues with the charging port? Connection feels quite loose after initially getting it "locked in".

If anyone is stuck for one of these I'll be selling one with the red otterbox and a 2nd dash charger as the sister got a Samsung and doesn't need it anymore

Will have it up on adverts soon, PM if anyone is interested thanks

I'm not sure why you'd wait for one with a cheaper and worse screen....?

How much are you looking for? I wouldn't need the case or second charger

yes the only reason they are switching is the supplier cant supply them with Amoled (no stock)

The money would be for the SnapDragon 821, which is a much of a muchness.

There is nothing in it to wait for and a worse screen...

    OnePlus are now selling handbags

Correction, they are now selling overpriced handbags.

They should stick to making sure they are their phones and primary accessories in stock instead of this BS.

They are out of stock. Anywhere else that has a good deal on them?

Still using Amoled according to latest rumours, will supposedly have a new processor and a new camera sensor with everything else staying the same.

Still just rumours so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The prices of each new phone these guys are bringing are going up each time. They might pull a Google and eventually have a mainstream price of 600 or 700.

Surprised they don't use Q-HD panels this time round, the 820 cpu can handle the extra res as is.

    How much was it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,550 ✭✭✭Ryath

£353 so just under €400 I reckon depending on exchange we get on card. 15 of that was for the payg sim. They said you had to take it maybe some stores would let you away without it. Happy enough to take will use it there and it maybe handy to have a UK number sometimes. Need to get a case and some usb type c cables so trying to decide on official ones from oneplus site or others from amazon.
