I'd agree with her though apart from the aggression bit ...I think it's the men that dress to show off the muscles that are a turn off tbh and they seem to think that the opposite is true.

People who think everyone who goes to the gym are vain and spend all day looking in the mirror tend to like to use that as an excuse to be unfit and lazy.

Dya think? So if a woman says she doesn't like the body builder look as opposed to men that go to the gym but aren't bulked up then we must be lazy?

I cannot see any evolutionary basis for selection of thin phag bods who aren't even proper men.
Fat women were seen as healthy up until very recently in the western world, as only the poor were thin.

Maybe a few hundred years ago, but the ability to hunt and kill now are not skills in demand.

    Thread needs a poll.

I like tall, broad guys. Doesn't have to be muscly. Think early Parks & Rec Chris Pratt (would definitely take toned Chris Pratt too though!)

The way a woman walks can be hypnotic. Outside of that it's hard to pick one thing that's better than the rest, it's all good. :D

Being the nerd I am I actually started working on that one day. It's a simple harmonic motion. I think it's better when there's a sway as opposed to a wobble so it's not based on hip or ass size since even with smaller hips/ass there can be a significant sway. I think it may be related to the actual posture and walk. If we accept that premise then there's an ideal ration of leg length to torso that would achieve ideal sway. The ideal sway would of course be between 10-15 degrees of movement from the upper middle of the back.

It would knacker the boards servers if we created that poll

No, different women like different body types, nothing wrong with that.

Women, or men who stereotype anyone who likes to go the gym and look after themselves as vain and shallow, are ignorant, and will also use that as an excuse as to why they don't exercise themselves. It's pure begrudgery.

I think it's because they sometimes look like they love themselves too much and would spend all their time in the gym or at the mirror. Also sometimes it can be a little intimidating, as in maybe they could turn aggressive. Just my opinion.

Thats silly though you wouldnt say girls who wear makeup are vain and spend all day looking in the mirror, its just normal. Its such a ridiculous double standard, that men are ridiculed for changing their appearance in any discernible way, even being healthy looking is ridiculed ffs

Are the people describing best for both genders bisexual or are they just so arrogant they are speaking on behalf of everyone?

Anyway I like tall lean muscular guys the best. I will also be very happy with a not so tall lean muscular guy. Also a tall lean but not muscular guy. Or a muscular but carrying a little bit of weight guy. But I will not accept a naturally thin with pot belly guy. Or a plain old fat guy.

So basically I like guys who are active and keep in shape and most versions of that will do. No big mystery there: I keep fit myself.

He must be hairy also. Non-negotiable.

No I would say girls who can't leave the house without wearing make up are vain because I think that. Same standard applies. I'm not talking about healthy looking guys, we were discussing the Arnie types. There's really no need to be that size unless your profession is body building.

A lot of people insisting on the hairy thing, I didn't even know that was a thing. Never occurs to me. :)

I find it messy and horrid looking.

I cant fully rationalise it but I go absolutely weak for a hairy man. I'm a nazi about keeping my own legs smooth every day even if they're never gonna be seen by anyone. I find a hairy chest so masculine.

So it can keep you warm after you've bedded down for the night on a slab of flint after spending the day running down antelope. You can then spend a second, or indeed a third, day out running down antelope until you finally encounter a dumb one that'll let you clock it with your club. This beats hell out of going back to Woman sans antelope, because she'll say "Where's all this fucken antelope you big hairless walloon??" and you'll get no dinner.

Following on fromt he "are you a roide" thread, I got to thinking what body types do men/women find most and least attractive in the opposite sex?

I'm a guy and in the media we always see big, muscular guys being touted as attractive. Do women actually find this to be the most attractive body type? Or is it considered intimidatingly good looking?

Typically the male body types can be broken down into

Overweight/fat - simply fat. Upper end of dad bod
Skinny phag - thin and scrawny. Little fat or muscle. Phag bod.
Skinny fat - Think the lower end of dad bod. Healthy BMI but out of shape.
Buff - toned but not big. bf approx 10%. Think Edward Cohen.
Ripped medium muscle mass with bf% <10%. Hugh Jackman.
Jacked - big muscle mass but with a higher bf% 15-20%. Jason statham.
Shredded - Child of ripped and jacked, good muscle mass with bf% <10%
Swole - Very large. Bulging with muscularity. Dwayne Johnson.
Yolked - Complete freakshows. Not possible without mega 'roidz bruh. Think Kali Muscle or Arnold at his biggest.

What sort of male body do average Jane on the street find to be the most attractive?

Dafuq is a skinny phag? You left out slim/toned btw.

It is an offensive term for a gay man with no breasts, as opposed to 'roid-pumpin' Brahs. I always felt that the fact that that word bore so close a resemblance to a well-known item of women's superstructure was no coincidince. :pac:

Would that no be the, erm, substructure, no?

A skinny phag is a slim guy. He doesn't have to be a homosexual, just poorly muscled and lightly built.

You'll appeal to a certain type of woman in that case. Almost definitely the type of woman who won't appeal to me however.

Although I can see something of a backlash against that preened look coming down the line.

A superstructure is, by definition and etymology, a structure that is built on top of another structure. I believe that covers it. :D

I hope there is also going to be a backlash against the drag queen makeup, hair extensions & acrylic nails. Even the scary cosmetic surgery and tippex white teeth is getting out of control. People are beginning to look like a grotesque cross-breed of clowns and porn stars.
