Went Snodgrass to Coutinho and used all the money in bank. Was hoping to avoid the gamble of which Liverpool midfielder turns up, but can't anymore

    Palace are their bogey team
I'm riding it out for one more week

I'm going to have to make 4/5 transfers sooner rather than later.

Choosing the right players at the right time is important though.

    I haven't gone for more than a -4 in quite a while....... :)

I don't know what to do. On paper, my team going into this week is great. In reality, it's meh due to certain big, expensive lumps under performing.

Same. Teams looks awesome (in my head) on paper but not producing the goods. I think so long as I'm scoring at least the weekly average I'll stick with them.

Just so so many options and it's proving difficult to know who to go with.

2 FT's this week so I'll need to use 1 and I'm thinking Lovern is out. Burnley have a good chance of a cleansheet next weekend so might bring in one.

Have exactly enough to do Sanchez Antonio and Benteke to Hazard Coutinho and Austin. Would rather wait a week but wouldn't be able to afford it then. Wouldn't mind doing it for -4 but not sure about -8.

Bony against his former team...could be just the night when he breaks his duck!

Well he has as much form as Ibra at the moment which was the plan so I'm SERIOUSLY considering it
    MNF captain always nice

Would it be okay if I took my 20 point hit now ?

    Last 3 gameweek points - 25, 20, 28
    That's an unreal run ...

Would your -20 transfers have worked out though?

In fairness, I already took similar hit(s) some years ago out of rage that nothing was working out for me (I definitely took a 16 pts hit and I may have taken a 24 pts hit once). And I do remember that I kinda broke even from my 16 pts hit.

So. What would be your moves?

Very tempted to transfer Aguero and Antonio to Costa and one from Hazard or Coutinho.

Had seen Aguero as the one guaranteed season keeper but starting to have major doubts now. I know He's easily the type of player that could turn around and score 4 next week but on the other hand freeing up 3m could really bulk up midfield and defence.

I fancy a 0-0 and annoyed that Bradley has dropped Amat and put Kingsley back in.

Only slightly better. Have fallen from 100k to 1.1m in three weeks! It's sick stupid game

Had decided to bring in Chadli for Sterling. Looked at the predicted risers and he was at 98.5 or thereabouts, decided to pull the trigger but it seems I was a couple of minutes late and he went up before I made the move. Cherry on top of a poor week. SICK.

Strange week this week. Most teams got less than 40, everyone has the urge to think "thats a low score, I should dump someone", but nobody has an idea who to bring in.

All the big guns flopped this week, draw a line under it and move on.

Only 7 strikers scored more than 2 this week, and 3 of them were Leicester strikers not named Vardy....
Musa, Iheanacho, Vokes, Okazaki, Lukaku, Slimani, Robson-Kanu

Is it time to bring Alli in?

I dunno, Spurs seem to be struggling for goals at the moment, they also look pretty tired, I'd be tempted to hold till Kane returns.

Is it time to bring Alli in?

No, we've been absolute sh*t the last three games

Home to City then away to Leicester (who have the best home form in the league)..bit of a strange choice of transfer.

I've been strongly considering him too.

Banking it bar an injury or red card to Ibra or aguero which will then makes next weeks decision much easier this week :D

Well that 28 is with a -4 subtracted off it :)

I've already rage transferred in Holebas for this week but I'm not making anymore till after the cup games

Snodgrass must go. Christian Benteke must go. Aguero might go too.

I wanted to bring Costa in this week but I know as soon as I do he'll pick up that yellow card.

I'm probably a good -12 from getting my team to something I want

Really stuck on who to replace out of Sterling, Capoue and Snodgrass.

All have been muck recently. 2FT 1.6 itb

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 784 ✭✭✭FrClintPower

Have to get rid of Snodgrass this week, and with 1.6 in the bank I have exactly the right amount to go for Siggy. His upcoming fixtures look okay, and his recent returns have been against Arsenal, City and Chelsea, so he's fixture-proof to some extent.

I'll wait till after the league cup games, price changes permitting, but I'm not worried that he'll be an improvement over Snoddy.

Benteke is at home to Liverpool with a point to prove. And palace have been a bit of a bogey team for Liverpool as pointed out by someone else

Feeling that. I see lots on my team who I dont like but look at replacements and see only inconsistency. Two FT and struggling to find one I love. Two players yellow flagged so maybe one them will make it easier for me.

Would you bring Matic in as a replacement for Capoue?

Matic seems to be fairly consistent. Doesn't get much goals but he has 3 assists in the last 3. He could act as a rotating 4th mid

Did you make the transfers? Transferred out Antonio and Benteke to Couthino and Austin last night.
Wanted to take advantage of the price changes, Couthino went up in price last night and Antonio will most likely drop in the next night or two.
Bit of a risk considering there's league cup games this week, and there's every chance Benteke could score against Liverpool and make me regret the transfers, but it's done now ; )

Hoping Couthino's combination of form and fixtures, along with Austin who looks well capable of matching Benteke' returns, should make it pay off over the next few weeks

If Allen/Snod is the one rotating with him it could work of course but generally holding mids wont pick up points. I'd get a 4.3/4.4M guy and put the money into the starting eleven over the coming weeks.

Aye, rotate with Allen is exactly what I was thinking but I'm not set on it. I really haven't a clue what I'm going to do this week.
