I'm looking to get rid of Eriksen for literally anybody :-)

Had him for about 5 weeks...1 assist is the sum total of his output. Not worth the money imho

he is just one of those players fantasy wise
    EVERY year the same
all the stats none of the points
    tadic the same

Without Kane, Spurs just don't score enough goals. I'd stay clear of any of their attacking players.

He got 178 pts last yr which was a good return. He is one of those frustrating players that tends to score highly you get him in and then blanks for a few weeks. He then scores highly as soon as you sell.

That's it in a nutshell AND he then bleeds value by the time you sell him

Right back to my original plan son to mata. He surely starts on Saturday especially as he was subbed off. I don't plan on keeping him more than 2 gws . May even move him to coutinho next gw.

Eriksen had a great second part of the season 3 years ago. I remember I kept him in my January WC (was 50/50 with Lallana) and he ended up being the better FPL prospect. He contributed in me winning my money league. Certainly his best FPL period. His most consistent anyway.

He's the kind of player you probably need to keep long term to take all the benefits from. Which could be frustrating alright.

I'm not sure he's yet a good option this season. Don't think he's better than Payet anyway (watch him shine at the week-end now :p). Unless he's a needed downgrade.

Re Mata. Just realised he's only £7.4m. Hmm... He could be my short-term replacement punt for Antonio.

This is it, his stats suggest that he his in all the right places, doing all the right things. Hoped to get him in before he explodes for once!!

I'm set on moving on Payet, no more than Spurs, not scoring enough for 9.4m spent there to be sustainable, with awful fixtures ahead. It will also allow me to upgrade Puncheon to Shaq, (who I should have bought last night).

I'm down to 5 main options to replace Payet....

    a) Eriksen, as above, has spurts of scoring and statistically "due".
    b) Alli, decent stats and passes the "eye test" better than Eriksen perhaps as he looks sharp and in good form.
    c) Mata - punty, short term, could score big this GW (even puntier - Pogba!)
    d) Firmino - go for the Liverpool double up as I already have Mané.
    e) Sterling. City have to come good and he has probably looked the liveliest of their attackers lately. Their bad run has come in tough fixtures and they turn very nice now - wba, MID, pal, bur,

The Spurs players, either of them, would be a good medium to long term move, fixtures next 6 are a mix of 3 great home fixtures plus 3 tough aways, before a very nice run from GW16. Am I looking too far ahead? Kane could be back by GW12 or certainly 13.

City, Man United and Liverpool have a better next 6 fixtures.

Firmino maybe the most logical option passing the basic test of playing OOP for a team scoring lots, with good fixtures??

    So folks, A, B, C, D or E??

Firmino. I agree Alli is playing well but gw16 is Spurs time fixture-wise. Sterling from what i've seen has actually looked good, but City are on a bad run - that said i expect that to end very soon. Mata and Eriksen i'd avoid - unpredictable and punty - but then again maybe that's what appeals ;)

    @FHFC I'D go with D.

Spurs are struggling for goals at the moment (although Eriksen and Alli are the 2 most likely). Mata could blow up in your face, is anyone even sure Mourinho will start him at the weekend??

Sterling has done well this season, but the Man City team isn't firing at the moment and I can see a good bit of rotation there.

Firmino is playing centrally and even if he is pushed out to the wing, he has scored highly with Sturridge in the team.

I don't have Walcott either so that's another 'obvious' option I may be overlooking.

If Sturridge starts then Firmino might go to the bench, I can't see him displacing Mane or Coutinho.

    What about Arnautovic?

banking my f/t i think, though i'm literally bare bones with my reserves Diomande and Amat both recently dropped, and Marc Wilson still lurking somehow in my squad. Only 0.1 i.t.b. tho and i have my 2 f/t in mind for next gw so i'll probably stick barring some catastrophic team news pending

If Sturridge starts it will be for Can/Wijnaldum with Coutinho dropping into midfield and Firmino to the left a la the Man U game.

There is not a hope in hell Firmino gets dropped from that team.

Think my FT this week will be Lenihen to Daniels.

Lenihen was bench fodder while Amat was playing but with Amat possibly ditched I need a 4th defender. Happy enough with my front players. Daniels has decent fixtures and they look like they're gonna score goals.

DECAB is how I'd rank them. I'd only look at next 2gws and reassess after IB.
Could consider Stanislas/Gradel et al at Bournemouth.

Anyone thinking of bringing in Sturridge for Kun?

Can't see Sturridge getting enough minutes for that gamble to pay off tbh.

Trying to shoe horn Deeney in myself....Benteke or Aguerooooo to make way(?)

Benteke seems to get booked a lot and miss loads of chances...the only reason I'd keep him is the ex-team voodoo factor but I fancy Liverpool to hammer Palace this weekend

Yeah the lack of starts is the worry. Zlatan and Costa on 4YCs puts me off them for the next 2 GWs. The twitter source for the Liverpool lineup has not been correct lately but I must admit seeing his name in a predicted starting lineup would tempt me.
I've had Deeney the past 4 GWs and captained him in one of his blanks. Another failure this week as captain and I could ship him even though their fixtures are ok. Watford have been a bit more conservative lately but I'm hoping it was more to do with not losing ground to their opponents in the last two.

I know City haven't been great at the back this year but John Stones looks set to drop to 4.9 tonight and they have tasty fixtures coming up (wba, MID, cry, bur) 1H & 3A I know but a CS or 2 and as a goal threat could earn some value and points

Have 2 FT but not a clue what to do with them...

Current viable options seem to be Eriksen to Shaquiri and/or Benteke to Deeney.

Leaning towards the Deeney option...happy enough with my defence. Another option could be Jakupovic to Pickford but that seems like a waste of a transfer (?)

    DON'T TRANSFER OUT AGUERO!

Just a great tip for everyone else because I'm transferring him out so he'll get 5 this weekend.

So who'd you go for? Did you spend the spare cash too with a second transfer?

Got a space left on our paid league if you're interested? :D

Thank God I'm not in any paid league this year.

I honestly don't know my reasoning behind it.

The fact that you did it the day before he scored is impressive!
