    Bony or Wilson (Bou)?

I know what yis are gonna say but need to hear it.

    May well then ignore it.

it may be a week too late for Wilson if it's a hit
really really really wish I'd done it last week now
Bony was good from what I saw on MOTD
still a bit off the pace but I've a feeling he will score consistently soon
Not sure which I'll do now
    or even Costa !

Has to be Wilson. Easy choice.

Knew you were gonna say that! ;)

Not sure if you think I'm joking but I'm not.

I've never rated Bony. I think Stoke will do ok this season so by default he will do ok too but he needs lots of chances to score.

Wilson proved he was consistently good before that terrible injury. He's got the games he's needed to be back to his sharpest and Bournemouth play to score goals. I nearly brought him in myself recently. I was gobsmacked he didn't take the penalty on Saturday but he is back on my radar after somebody posted that it was a one off and he will be on future penalties.

    Neither.

    Certainly not Bony, yet.

    Austin?

    Is Gray back soon?

Could do worse than Wilson I suppose.

I've got my eye on Slimani in the near future too, just to throw it out there :)

Southampton's next two fixtures are very tricky. After Bournemouth game against Spurs, they got some good fixtures.

Ok. I might listen to yis.

Bony has served me well in the past. And if/when he breaks his duck vs Hull I think he could get a glut of goals. Players who end a barren spell tend to.

Slimani was on my watchlist but Leicester keep being muck.

    Another one so.

Walcott or Alli? Already owning Sanchez.

my god are we the same person :D
I have really liked what I've seen from Alli last few weeks
could have had a hat trick at weekend
again though I don't know if I'll take a hit for himself and Wilson who play each other this weekend
I may even end up banking !
ibra dropping again would force my hand though
one drop is enough to swallow

Walcott. More explosive. Easy. I've got himself and Alexis currently. Plus remember I'm all sensible these days :)

I was thinking Bony too but Watford's fixtures are too good for me to sell Deeney. I think Stoke have turned their corner now, only a matter of time till Bony finds some form.

I have Walcott and Sanchez. I prefer Arsenal's next two games too.

Brings me to a problem I think I have with my team - I have Sanchez, Walcott, Mane and Firmino in my midfield.

My logic is not that I have two midfielders from each team but one striker and one midfielder from each with Sanchez and Firmino playing up front.

It leaves me with no Chelsea cover and I don't feel the need for United cover offensively.

    Overkill or not?

after seeing the holebas wonder strike on MOTD, I'm desperate to get him in my team. but for who......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

    austin

Thought you were a fixtures man. :)

Very tough run plus Europa plus Puel comments on rotation plus bad past experience.

He was a great play if you got him before this week but for next 5 I'm not so sure.

Before I bought Benteke for the gameweek just gone, I checked to see who else was bringing him in...... and I saw you. And I said to myself, " you know, I'm gonna go with Mr P. on this one. When he scores, the postings will be epic! "

I'm not saying never again but..... ;)

Im happy to have him against city he will get chances against them. I reckon puel will just play him in PL and then long in EL and carling cup. Probably is better options next few weeks but I think he is great value.

    PLUS!

Charlie Austin has yet to play a full 90 mins since joining Southampton!

I also bought Walcott though so I can't be that bad :)

Also I did identify Austin as his alternative but went for the more "reasoned" option in Benteke so I'm looking on that as some kind of a positive. Almost in the sense that a huge score is better being on your bench than not being in the squad at all.....:o

Kone definitely wont survive another night. Going to bring in Clyne.
    Pools fixtures look very good

    Alderweireld out.

Really not sure who to bring in

Think most are going to Vertonghen. He's already went up this week and looks like he will again.

    Have already done
    Valencia to Pieters
    Antonio to Walcott
    with my 2 Ft

Now thinking Kone to Lovren or is there a better option for 5 mil or under?

Just realised Karius is only 4.9 and only a 0.3m upgrade from Foster.

    Any drawbacks I'm missing?

Apart from him being the Liverpool goalkeeper obviously. :D

Clyne and Lovren better picks imo, plus Migs is more than capable of getting back into the team

Mmm. I need to upgrade a keeper though. Was thinking of Lloris but Karius with those fixtures for only 0.3 extra vs an extra 0.9 for Lloris....

For the short term i probably prefer Baines or Valencia over Lovren or Clyne. If selling one of those it would be for a 4.5 most likely.

Ditching Antonio before Sunderland at home seems stupid, but it's the only way for me to get Walcott in.

I'm rotating Karius with Pickford... gives you the following fixtures until 31 Jan when you'll probably make changes on the wildcard. Also assumes Pickford doesn't get dropped before 31Jan.

    K - WEST BROM
    P - ARSENAL or K- palace
    K - WATFORD
    P - HULL
    K - SUN
    P - LEICESTER
    K - WEST HAM
    P - CHELSEA or K- boro
    P - WATFORD
    K - STOKE
    P - burnley
    P - LIVERPOOL // K - sun
    P - STOKE
    K - SWANSEA
    K - CHELSEA

Except for the 2 weeks with Chelsea and the Arsenal fixture next week I'd view the fixtures as pretty soft. I'll probably go with Karius away to Palace over the Arsenal fixture as I've double Arsenal attack now anyway. For one of the Chelsea fixtures you can have Karius away to Boro which is probably a more likely clean sheet too. He's definitely worth a look if Pickford is your other keeper IMO.

Really need ideas on who to trade in for Ibra. Was looking at Llorente but seems to be injured. Thinking then of trading other someone else and waiting for Llorente to be fit?

    Don't want Lukaku.

Thinking Wilson but would rather a differential.

Also when I go to sell Capoue it says value of 5.3M yet I only get 4.9 in bank? Can someone briefly explain? I've had him weeks!

    Hard to look past Costa.

Don't forget the january WC is now gone. It's a second half of the season WC.

Now, "your" rotation looks great... on paper.
