I picture a FA move to pick up a kicker to put pressure on him like we have done in the past.

    Fooking stupid by Gronk

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

Not a lot Gronk does wrong, but he was an idiot there. On top of that, psycho Burfict is going to target him now for the rest of the game.

Was about to say what a great 2nd half Gronk was having, then he goes and be's a dick.

Two big plays by the defense and a good punt return to boot. C'mon lads finish it here.

Most important thing for the pats now is winning without any new injuries. No need to worry about TB

Pretty sure he was responding to the cheap shoot on Bennett earlier. Doubt Bill will be happy about it

Not one to take joy out of other players' injuries, but no Roethlisberger for the Steelers next week is a massive boost for us.

Our highly paid safety also not contributing.

Didn't even realise he was playing!
Oh man, another miss for Gost. His head is all over the place.

Seems like he misses a kick every game. He's one of the best paid kickers in the game cos he's supposed to be Mr Dependable.

I've been very impressed by Elandon Roberts these last 2 weeks, showing a lot of promise!

A good win in the end last night when they figured things out on offense. The D did a great job keeping them in it while the O got it's act together.

I wouldn't blame the D for one of those drives that looked all to easy for the Bengals because they had spent a lot of time on the field and then the O went three and out and they were straight back on the field again.

As for Gronk, he never does things like that so there was something more to it than what we got to see. Edelman was at it too it seems and Blount certainly got caught up in it as well.

You have to remember what you are dealing with here, Burflict and Pacman Jones in particular.

I'm willing to give then all the benefit of the doubt here and back them. You even seen Gronk getting a low five from Jimmy G when he went to the sideline and then a couple of guys off the D came up to him and seemed to be saying nice job to him as well.

As for Max Kellerman, I used to follow boxing and was a big fan of HBO until he got a job with them. He is a waste of space who just wants to run his mouth and much like Bayliss the only way he can keep himself relevant is to be controversial.

In fact I like Bayliss because he is witty but Kellerman is just a clown. I really don't understand how he gets so much air time.

Not one to take joy out of other players' injuries, .......................

Don't worry about it, I remember this before the season started.
Steelers DeAngelo Williams on Tom Brady's suspension: "I am glad they got problems. I don't care," Williams on told Kaboly. "Everybody has their problems, and I am glad they have theirs."

Vontaze Burfict threw his entire body weight into the back of Marty Bennett's knee completely off the ball and then on the next play, Pacman went low on Gronk after his reception and Gronk let them have it...that's how it all kicked off, Gronk was sticking up for his teammates. Heart in the right place but it was a costly 15yards as instead of being 1st and Goal at the 5 its was 1st and goal at the 20 and we had to settle for a FG.

I hope Burfict gets a fine for his dirty hit on Bennett.

Just read that Brady pump faked just before he threw the pass that went way over Bennett's head. So maybe that explains the completely unnecessary hit on Bennett, but honestly its very hard to give somebody like Burfict the benefit of doubt.

It was dirty. Just as well Bennett was on his toes and didn't have his foot planted.
I hate the way some players keep saying that the NFL, in an attempt to reduce head trauma hits, is giving them no choice but to target someones knees in an effort to injure them. Low hits can be done without looking to seriously hurt someone.
And also, Blount needs to keep his hands/fingers out of other players faces/eye-area.

I regret even considering giving Burfict the benefit of doubt for half a second:

He better be suspended again, the guy is out of control.

    I agree, Williams may not.

Looking at Tom Brady's stats since the nonsense of PSI-gate, including postseason games.

He's completed 572 passes in 22 games, at a 65% CR and an average of 26 completions per game.

He has averaged 302 Yards per game.

He has averaged 4.3 Tds to every 1 Int thrown.

His stats break down to an average of 37 Tds and 8 Ints a season.

Taking his two games so far this season in isolation, he's averaged 389 yards per game for a 76% CR, 3 TDs, O Ints.

If you ask me, somebody better start under-inflating his footballs again.....:pac:

Inactives for tonight. Looks like Rowe is ahead of Cyrus on the depth chart, which is probably a good thing based on what we've seen so far.

That's not the first time Bolden has disappointed this season. I know he has his special teams value, but like Matthew Slater, I always hate when I see either of them involved on offense.

It baffles me we even put Bolden on the field to try catch anything when we can use Blount to block in the backfield and send White out to catch. Absolute nonsense. Playing like **** all over the place. We really should be turning the screw on this team. They are not great.

What a horrible and sloppy 2nd quarter.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

This is so lethargic. It's like "Oh, Roethlisberger is out. We'll be fine."

So unbelievably sloppy. I hope Bills chews them out of it. And maybe asks Josh to involve our tight ends for once.

I am getting to the point I hate to see QBs with little experience get a game against the Pats. I swear we make them look like HOF QBs every fooking time. I could be way off and will look up the stats one of these days but seems like it.

Bill is 47:14 (or close to that) against backup QB's. They mentioned start at the start of the broadcast.

Not talking about all backups QBs and never mentioned losing to them either. Im talking about these young guys making our defense look **** and them putting up a lot of yards on us. Some of these guys in the past didn't even last in the NFL or were average at best. Our defense has been poor and giving them too much time on the ball.
