Is Josh tying to be too cute for his own good by not using the TEs? Head scratcher

We keep this sh1t up and this is a loss. Same as the Bills game we lack any answer and our play calling is awful.

I'd love to know how often we throw short of the sticks on third down.

Solider beaten three times in a row, and two pens. Brutal.

Offense's lack of consistency is maddening

Its actually starting to get very worrying now. I thought he'd sort it out, clearly not.

More than a blip at this stage.

Way more. Maybe time to bring in competition.

Gronk tied for most TD catches in Patriot history

No QB pressure tonight. And again, another game where our very well paid safety does nothing.
I've lost huge faith in the D doing much this year to help us win. Steelers missing big players on offense, yet we struggle.

Good man JE 11 way to fook up that return

Dodged a bullet there. Steelers should have gone for it

Got lucky there that they got nothing out of that turnover. We should be up by a lot more than 11 points. So sloppy tonight.

To be fair, they have been doing that. 2nd least points against in the NFL entering today.

I will admit however that I find that hard to believe from watching us. The secondary appears to have taken a step back, our pass rush is anaemic and tackling is suspect the last few games.

No excuse now but to close this game out and prepare for next week and get our heads out of our asses.

Thought we would get at least one 1st down to give us the ability to close this out quicker but for fook sake we struggle to do that.

How do we make winning so easy look so hard?

    Zero QB pressure.
We didn't register a sack, and I'm not sure we touched him much. Even below average QB's will rack up yards if given that much time.
Pittsburgs missed FG's were very expensive.

Butler and Blount excellent, Edelman needs to pull the thumb out. Ghost.... something needs to happen there.

Yeah the 0 QB pressure was infuriating, thats the reason we lost to the Bills. We gave Taylor unlimited time in the pocket and made him look like a HoF'er...this can't happen again next week.

AJ Derby to the Broncos for a 5th round pick. Watch him absolutely kill with the Broncos

Also acquired Kyle Van Noy from the Lions for a 6th round and Pats get a 7th plus Nye

Bill mustn't really rate Derby if he trades him to our main rivals for AFC

Or he saw good value in the trade. When you think we gave a 4th round pick for Bennett and got Derby in the 6th round a 5th round pick is really good value for a guy who has yet to catch a ball in the regular season. You got to think though if we hadn't got Bennett we would have kept him.

The fact we needed roster space for Van Noy also makes it a sensible trade really.

My issue with this trade is that theres a strong possibility that Bennett is just a 1 year rental. I was hoping Derby could step up next year given the potential he has shown.

How do you get a 26 year old starting LB on a good defense for a 6th rounder? It appears awfully cheap.

They haven't good a good defense so far this year, shipped a lot of points.
Still, it's a starter for a 6th, which is cheap.

I've seen a good few of their games, they shipped a lot of points @ Indy and @ Green Bay but aside from that they have looked pretty good to me.

I do have to say though that I didn't notice Mr Van Noy much in the games I have seen. I heard his name a couple of times but I don't remember him doing anything in games.

A bit of a strange one to see a team that loves their TE's, cutting one and having only two left on the roster. Now I think Fleming can play at TE or maybe even Develin, but it's still not ideal to have only two TE's for the rest of the season.
