With Eircom - it's not the strongest of connections but iPad, laptop all work away with little to no problems. I know I called them recently as had poor service and according to the rep the router was not set to a specific channel so was changing channel every 15 or so minutes causing regular drops. This is just constant on the +3 tho so much that it's a struggle. While I'm at work I use data on 4g with no problems...

    no wonder it takes weeks.
it takes over a week to get information to just send it to them :(

Any suggestion on the best glass screen protector? I can't use a curved one as my case is too tight.

I would've recommended the Nillkin H+ Pro .2mm one but mine chipped twice

I dont think theres any good ones tbh, full screen ones seem to be too reflective, others dont cover the camera or don't cover the edges of the screen

Having now tried a few cases and screens the best combo I've come up with is the Spigen case (amazon) and the Nillkin H++ (ALiExpress) the case has a nice lip but not too pronounced to protect the screen and the protector fits the case well I've had no chips or lifts that I had on previous ones including the orzly.

I think the combo compliments each other

I finally got the updated orzly screen protector and works much better. Been on for 5 days with the apricot case and no issues.

£336, which works out at €384.23 according to google. so 15 yoyos cheaper than directly from OnePlus and if you live near the border you can just drive up and get one instead of waiting for delivery.

Hi, do they still selling them on pay as you go? I checked their website but I can see them just on contract. I am living close the borders. I wanted to grab one in Newry o2 shop. Cheers.

I've found in the past that it often depends on who you get - some are more helpful than others

there seems to be growing rumours (though unconfirmed) of an update to the Oneplus 3 - Oneplus 3S or Oneplus 3Plus.
The rumour is that it will look the same as the OP3 but will have the new snapdragon 821 and some other minor upgrades. Possibly a switch to LCD screens because of shortages on the AMOLED side of things...

Daydream compatability seems to be the main reason for the upgrade.

Anyone in the market for an OP3 should probably hang on for a little while longer to see how this story develops

They're not moving to lcd screens anytime soon.

Hold off based on unsubstantiated rumours so people can use Daydream? Madness.

Hold off for a couple of weeks to see if the rumours have truth to them? Yeah horrifying stuff altogether. And it's not specifically day dream, but rather upgraded internals that might be of interest. If your desperate for a phone today no one is stopping anyone from pulling the trigger on the OP3 or any other phone.

I have one. I'm perfectly content with it.

Your exact words were "Daydream compatability seems to be the main reason for the upgrade". Given that people have spent the vast majority of this thread since the phone came out whining about delivery times, suggesting that people wait to see if there's a variant on the model (with no reliable source, details or estimate of what impact it will have on the ordering process) that's primary reason for existing is daydream compatibility is, in my opinion, completely daft.

Daydream is OP's main reason for the upgrade to grab a slice of that pie before the mobile Congress next spring. End users main reason may not be daydream compatability but rather upgraded specs for the same price or slightly more.
Not sure what's daft about potential end users having information available to them. People can make up their own mind as to whether they wait to see if it's worth hanging on.

Sounds like the only issue you have is something else coming along to mess with your contentness

Yes, that's it, I'll simply die of envy if anyone else gets a better phone than my mid range one. I simply couldn't bear it.

    Ye've little to worry about!

BTW, the word sought is "contentedness".

Two questions to current owners, happy to hear any feedback:
    1. Have OnePlus fixed the Bluetooth software issues that happened on the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X? My particular gripe was that my bluetooth speaker (UE Boom, first version) would not sync its volume level with my OnePlus X (an installation of a customised ROM solved this so it was purely a software bug).
    2. Is there an ability to turn off the charging notification LED? I charge at night and the charging light really annoys me (please no wise cracks to turn the phone around so it faces down as I want to have the ability to see notifications too)

    1. Yes, it works fine with my in car bluetooth (Hyundai Tuscon) and bluetooth earphone.
    2. No (not as far as I'm aware anyways)

I just got an OP3 to replace my OPX. When I initially opened the phone it asked me did I want to transfer from another phone, but I said no, as I was going to wipe the phone (unlock bootloader and root etc) . Now thats all done, I'm signed in, all google apps updated but it has not downloaded any of my other apps. What's the best way to migrate? Can I get back in to the tool it mentioned at the start? Shouldn't Google automatically download my apps? Its not doing it so far... Thanks

Should be a record of them in the Play Store, MyApps, swipe across from "installed" to "all" and install the ones you want. Can select them all then install in one go.

Ok thanks, i see it now. Kind of annoying, I thought it would just redownload the apps I have on my phone (iOS does this and I hate apple). This list seems to have every app I've ever downloaded, I'm seeing ones from years ago but have not seen the ones that I use daily yet after minutes of scrolling. Weird..

Android used to do that. I don't know why they don't do it now. I for one am glad as I have only a handful of apps installed. One time I used to want as many as I could install.

Well, you have said that the OP3 asked you did you want to do it and you declined :)
