Hi all. I am on the fence about PSVR and I'm sure I am not alone. I just thought I'd open this thread for people who already have one to post their own opinions:

    Is it worth getting?
Are you glad you got one?
How is the framerate - does it cause nausea?
    How responsive is it?
Do you think it will perform well with fast-paced games? Or were the slightly slower-paced launch titles carefully chosen.
Do you think you will use it regularly?

There are other threads about Sony's support for other devices (Vita, PSP etc) so opinions about that kind of stuff can be addressed at those threads. This is not a thread comparing Hive, rift, PSVR or whether MS will go down that route with Scorpio or if Sony will abandon it in 2 years.

Please feel free to ask questions but please only owners post on the poll/reply to the questions I don't know about anyone else, but I just want to see actual user opinions before I go one way or the other.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

It is due to be in stock on 13 Oct but this is subject to change.

You will receive an email when it is ready for collection.

If you require any further assistance, please be sure to contact us.

    Best wishes,

so in other words - I might get it on day one, but might not :|

did you pick a store to pick it up in. I would just show up as early as possible and be like here to collect my order.

I think it will depend on the store/staff. current theme is that it is non refundable. but you might get someone sound enough to let you change it up and have store credit.
if you can get a bundle on the day without preorder far deuce to you.

yeah maybe even let me get a psvr game with it instead

i'm just wondering, if i go into their site at 12am on Wednesday night / Thursday morning, should the PSVR be there, so i can reserve one?

Has any of the release games caught anyone's eye yet?
Only thing I've seen that looked good was drive club vr and I'd have to buy the full game again which sucks, it should be an add on or something.

I got a call saying mine would be ready to collect on Thursday. They are doing a deal in gamestop on launch day too, buy any 3 VR games and get batman VR free.

Just in case people are looking

Does this include the 3 x 20euro titles? How much is Barman supposed to be anyways?

Yep, that's what the guy told me anyway.

I think Batman is 20 quid alone also, but I think that's on PSN

Sounds tempting, hoping Argos have there own bundle but if not may just get that deal... Still need to get the camera maybe Argos will have it for 50euro as its 60 in gamestop while 50 in smyths...

Should I wait to download VR demos from EU store or should I go ahead and get them from US as I have both a US and EU account attached to my PS4?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

You might get a better deal if you buy around Xmas.

I haven't pre ordered but rang GameStop last week to see if they'd have limited launch stock for non pre orders. They said they are not expecting a delivery of another batch until after Christmas.

I find it very hard that this will sell out before Christmas.

It will be most popular with nerds like us :pac:

I've just got a PS4 two weeks ago in the Argos deal so haven't really thought about the VR, especially at €400.

I still say I'll pick it up in the new year though :)

So no stores will have spares come launch day?...

I assume Argos around the country will have stock, so hopefully we can pre-order from there tomorrow (or reserve)...

Interested to see what the early adopters say.

Tbh I've no interest in this for gaming, but Netflix and Blu-ray through it sound really good .

Their twitter said to check with their stores directly for more information.
Smyth's said they won't have extra stock either.
Argos will have them but does anyone have any idea when they update their site with new products? Should we expect a midnight addition to try nab one?
