arresting someone for ticket touting in Rio is disgraceful
Allowing the monopoly that is ticketmaster/seatwave clearly exploit people in Ireland is ok
It's not a croime in Ireland, It's not a croime in Ireland, It's not a croime in Ireland, It's not a croime in Ireland, It's not a croime in Ireland.

I didn't hear the show today or read the thread yet. Apologies if someone else said this.

I'm just listening to the podcast.

Joe says people go and buy tickets and then realise after that the date clashes with a wedding. Usually their own wedding.
What sort of sh1te is that?

He needs to give up his auld guff so to speak.

He just mumbles stuff constantly not even paying attention to what he's just said and then compounds it by saying more nonsense on top of the original piece. Sure last week he admitted Lahv on air that he wasn't listening and that he was taking to himself - he probably actually forgot he was in a studio in RTÉ broadcasting on a national radio station when he did this. He's so unprofessional at even the basics of broadcasting he has to be the luckiest man in the world to have the income he has based on his intellect. He's an ignoramus, and likely ignorant of the fact that he is one too.

Normally I'd ask "did he really say that?"; but I have reached the point where I don't and wouldn't rule him out of saying literally anything.

He said exactly that, word for word. Clearly thought he was making the joke of the week.

He's saving that for the next series of tv shows......

Are you joking? By the time Joe's jag leaves Montrose he's forgotten the name of the show he occasionally presents let alone the callers' tales of woe.

I was excited for a moment before realising it's not the kind of DP I'm thinking of.

Those rats are very selective, dining only on steak and champagne.

Guaranteed we'll have some Ryanair bashing in the coming weeks so to speak.

Joe: did you read de T's and C's Mary?
    Mary: no Joe.
Joe: ah sure WHOY would ya petal. I mean if you miss yer flight because you had to go and get some Werther's Originals ta chew at de take off day should wait for ya so to speak. How late were you for de flight?
    Mary: 9 hours Joe
Joe: dat was only a small delay, day should have waited. Aer Lingus would have waited for ya so to speak.

Dat picture is very unfair; Kim Jong isn't as fat as Joe, and dare's far more debate and discussion of topics in North Korea Dan dare ever is in Da Lahv Lahn.

Me Weekly Column, by me, Joe Duffy so to speak.

Anudder week, anudder €8,500 or so in fees says I so to speak. Not bad for 6 hours wurk incl. de breaks says I. It's actually a lot more per week if you do de Matty Matticks on de weeks dat I do actually be in so so speak but I get de DTs tinkin abour de Matty Matticks so let's move on shall we so to speak? People often say to me "Joe, do ya tink dats wat Connolly and Larkin did stand for? A man wit no qualifications for de job he's in, gifted to him through cronyism and costing de state a fortune to deliver a shoyte service"; and I tell dem "dats exactly wat day stood for. If anyting I'm underpay-ed so to speak" and me auld favourite lahn "who am I to say wat a nurse is wurth?" so to speak.

So de show dis week was so bland Fill-In himself refused ta do it so to speak. De Dee Gee called me in for a bir of a dressin' down after last week's shenanigans and told me ta cool de jets for a whoyle and I told her 'Makes no odds to me sugar tits, I get payed either way so to speak". I aslo did tell her dat she may be de Dee Gee, but dat I make way more dan her and she better not forget it. She begged me not to leave for Newstalk and said I could have more Funny Frydays if I wanted so we'll see how tings play out so to speak. Anyways, back ta de show - I did a lot of de talkin' about de inshurdance dis week. It seems dat older Irish peeple haven't a clue about de inshurdance - I reely don't know whoy as I explained it perfectly so many times so to speak. Inshurdance is when you pay money ta a company in case someting happens and if it doesn't ye get yer money back so to speak - it's very simple really. I don't know why de peeple do be confused at all at all. I explained dis loads a times now on loads a shows, whoy do de peeple be confused? Anyway, I've decided I'm going to close wan a dem inshurdance companies - Comboyned Inshurdance - as I don't like de cut a dare jib so to speak.

We also did discuss Ticketmaster and Seatwave. Now buying de tickets deeze days is very cmplimacated. You go on de computer ta buy dem - and you can do dis from anyware in de wurild. After yisser get yer tickets ya bring yer computer and yer printer to the concert and print out yer tickets outside de concert ta get in. My top tip for de week is ta do it on yer Eye Pad as it's smaller dan bringing the whole computer or laptop in with ya ta da concert as dare duz be an awful queue for de sockets for de printers. Not dat any of dis affects me by de way so to speak as like everyone in RTE I get all me tickets for free pro gattis so to speak, but I needed ta show de listeners dat I'm a man a de peeple like dem. Dis week de tickets were for Coldplay. I love Coldplay; I have all dare albums so to speak - I have Thriller, Bat Out of Hell, De Greatest Hits and Rumours.

Me favourit albums by de Coldplay, in order:

    Michael_Jackson_-_Thriller.png
    Bat_out_of_Hell.jpg
    greatesthits.jpg
    FMacRumours.PNG

I pay dem albums in de jag and dat. I love Martin Chris too as de singer so to speak. He was married to Beyonce wance and his dawturr's name is Eye Pod.

For dose of youz dat are longing for more death and misery on de programme, I promise yisser all dare'll be plenty of dat dis week and dat so to speak.

'Til Next week, keep de faith.
