Update: I contacted support and they gave me the tracking number, the phone has departed the facility in "SZCZECIN" enroute to ParcelMotel.

I wonder what sort of scenic route it'll take on the way here?:pac::pac:

    Am I missing something here?

    It simply says this.

    pQ1xo0L.png

I think you ARE missing something. The line in that email directly above the text you quoted should read: "Your Shipment # for Order #3*********" . That number should allow you to track via DHL when it becomes active.

This is another extract from the email I received: "Your shipping confirmation is below. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for your tracking number to become active, so don't worry if you cannot track it just yet."

I got it sorted anyway, see my above post but interestingly enough it says this:

"Your Shipment # for Order #XXXXXXXXX"

There's nothing beside the first #!

Poland Germany and Brussels (Maybe somewhere in the UK) IIRC was my OP3s route

    Mysterious.

Seems it's available over the counter now from O2 in Britain. http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Welcome-News/OnePlus-3-Only-on-O2/td-p/1004781

Anyone find any problems with it coming from such a distance in China as opposed to purchasing from the local phone shop as regards any problems that may be with the phone.

Seemingly, judging from the OnePlus forum certain American orders ship from China but EU orders either come from Poland or England somewhere.

Mine took a similar tour of DHL facilities in Poland, Leipzig, East Midlands before arriving. This was the third OP device we've bought in this house (soon to be another) and all arrived in about a week. They make make perfect sense, buy them outright for half the price of a similar spec phone, run them on Three all you can eat for €20 a month, no more being tied into an 18m or 2y contract with a phone that's useless after a year. Being dual sim I also was able to ditch my work phone (useful for travelling) and set it up so all roaming data and calls are done through work sim but people can still call me on my personal sim.
My daughter somehow uses her second sim to provide WiFi for streaming Netflix through a Chromecast in her university apartment.

How long did it take to arrive from dispatch?

Mine was supposedly dispatched yesterday but it hasn't been picked up by DHL yet.

Do you think this would mean you could buy it in Belfast?

Can't remember but in each case the whole thing took about a week or less, I ordered a OP2 on a Sunday evening and it arrived that Thursday, my OP3 took slightly longer than a week but there was a weekend in between.
As someone says above, pretend it's Christmas and sit back and count the sleeps. :)

Didn't read the whole thread but how much are O2 selling them for?
I would use the opportunity to play with one in the O2 shop but order it direct from OP.

The OP3 is on sale in O2 stores. They will tell you it's locked when it is not. Here is a customer experience where they try to tell him otherwise…

So I want into the store last Thursday to purchase the oneplus 3, knowing full well that the phone is unlocked, and spoke to the 02 Guru about purchasing it outright and was told by said Guru it is '100% locked' and when I asked if he could make sure or call up customer support to be sure, he rudely refused and was adamant it was locked, as I had no proof of it being unlocked I left the store empty handed.

That afternoon I messaged the O2 Facebook page, and oneplus directly asking about the phone, and unsurprisingly both of them confirmed the phone is unlocked.

With this new evidence in hand I decided to walk back into the store the next to hopefully purchase the phone again. The guru wasn't in, so instead I sat down with a sales rep who again told me the phone is locked to O2 for 12 months, I even showed him messages from both your Facebook page and oneplus's but even then he called over the assistant manager and continued to say the phone was locked.

At this point, I asked if I could call up customer support and have them speak to the store, and the assistant in charge of the store at the time I could but only if I left the store and then came back inside because I 'wasn't listening to them' and accepting the phone was locked? After I spoke to the very helpful customer support rep on the phone, he asked to speak with the assistant and told him the phone is unlocked without a shadow of a doubt.

Service I recieved was nothing like i ever experinced before - left me in complete shock and some of the stares i was recieving from the sales rep :/

Sales people like that are the reason I hate "bricks and mortar" shops. Most sales people seem to be a clueless when it comes to the stuff their shop sells

It is customer service like that that persuaded me to buy direct from OnePlus rather than get an upgrade from my provider and be tied to a new 24month contract. "You can talk to customer services but you have to leave the shop to do so" ridiculous.

£336, which works out at €384.23 according to google. so 15 yoyos cheaper than directly from OnePlus and if you live near the border you can just drive up and get one instead of waiting for delivery.

I was not following this thread or the OP forums, so didn't know. I owned a OPO, and at the minute a OP2, so last night I said I will buy the OP3 and went on the site and a month long wait. WTF like! Anyone know why that is, when the phone was first released you could buy it but I didn't bother as I was happy with the 2.

My phone is slowly on its way! Finished in Poland and now it has been processed in Hannover, Germany. I'm thinking that if it still has to go through Belgium like it has done with others and then since I'm in Ireland - Dublin, it'll probably make a stop in England, it'll definitely be early next week by the time I get it. Estimated delivery was 11th of October.
