    Dimitri. I think it's a nice name!

I like the name. It was the bonkers spelling that threw me off.

How does that work, when both use the Cyrillic alphabet?

I always just thing of scythes or a side of coleslaw.

I come across some strange names in the course of my work. Today was a middle name 'Enigma' for a girl.

I know her. Normal first name, nice girl. Unfortunate choice by her father. I guess thankfully its a middle name.

I have come across an Uisce Dubh. She's probably in her 20's or 30's. Seriousely Black Water - just seems very unhealthy or something!

How does that work, when both use the Cyrillic alphabet?

Ukrainian has some extra letters like they use i (pronounced as e) and also some names change like Anna is Ganna, Nikita is Mikita (pronounced very strangely too, with an Ы sound)

Heard a new one yesterday. Was walking to the counter in a store and some little **** started running alongside me pointing a plastic sword at me. Then I heard the mother say "Oakley come back here". Oakley. I was telling my missus and she said "Oakley?, like okley dokely from the Simpsons?". That kid will have a hard time when he's older if the Simpsons are still going.

First time I'd heard that particular name but I've heard some right daft ones over here. Young couples particularly seem to be quite bad for picking terrible "unique" names.

In fact, Otis and Felix aren't bad either

I wonder if there's another kid called 'Ned'

I wonder if it's 'only in america' that use Randy as a 1st name :P
But Cletus is definitely used in US only (i hope!)

On the break in the X-Factor with the mimes, "Leah (ok) and Mace." Mace... Jaysus, to most of us that's where you get a sambo and coffee in Maxol. It's a self defence spray AND that old medieval weapon. What goes through these people's heads! (Should be a mace.)
