We've gone to Bull Island twice and never got much of anything there. Saw a couple of shadows but I suspect those Pokemon were the fancy type who only lived on the golf course.

Was there this morning. Nothing. Literally nothing out of the usual. 3rd or 4h time now. Best I could muster was nothing more than candy fodder. Won't be bothered going again. Caught a charmander the first time I was there and thought the place was the bees knees. Best in 3 trips since was a squirtle and Omantyle

Whatever it is Friday and Saturdays seem to be lucky days from 10km eggs - had it the last few weekends, this weekend no different. Three picked up yesterday and a fourth this morning!

What areas are you picking up the 10km eggs? I must always be at the wrong end of town, all I get are 5km eggs!

I've gotten a lot of 10km eggs in the People's Park, Scotch quay, and out by the Kingfisher gym/ Eco Park.

Nothing exciting from yesterday's ones - Eevee, Pinsir and Magmar.

Btw - town was full of Dratini by Reginald's Tower and that part of the quay. Was down there for an hour earlier and caught 4!

That explains it! I'm usually up around Ballybricken/Lisduggan, etc. Will have to venture further to get some decent eggs.

Think I'll head down for a walk along the Quay tomorrow too, thanks!

When somebody says town and you initially think of where you live and then realise it's a different place altogether.

All six gyms in my town went red a few days ago and I have my top six mons in each now. I'm not complaining but there's three people with cp 2900 dragonites and snorelaxes with hyper beam...may not be entirely kosher but don't really care as no-one has taken any of the gyms since :)

Out of interest, what's the highest level people have seen gyms at? Saw one in Dublin (I think it was Merrion Square area) that was up to level 9, meanwhile in Longford the highest I've seen was level 5 or 6.

There are a good few in Dublin City centre. I'm in a few level 10 gyms. Still never spotted a level 10 Instinct gym though....they seem to be rarer than Grimes. :D

Just checked my highest CP and it's IV is 91% @ 722 CP :D pity I've never seen one in the wild, so I've 11 candies left to get from hatching or buddy.

Finally got enough candies for Charizard. Now the dilemma of evolving my 89% IV Charmander or waiting to catch/hatch a better one..

Great choice. I'm still short of a charmeleon never mind a charizard!

Given that there is a 10% swing from 0 to 100% IV, you are looking at holding out for a possible 1% rise. I would evolve.

Have Charmander as my buddy and caught about 15 in the past week on Bull Island to get me enough :D . Yeah, I think your right, the suspense is killing me anyway :pac:

I concur, 89% is pretty darn good. Gonna take a lot of eggs/catches to find a better specimen than that.

I'm with you; 19/25 candies for my Charmander. My current buddy's Geodue so I might switch to Charmander after I get me a Golem! :D

I should be following you in a few days. Have a 91% Charmeleon to evolve. Currently on 95 Charmander candy. Hopefully by Wednesday it should pass the 100 mark with the buddy system, or if I get lucky on a 2km egg before that.

Think I'll switch to Kabuto after that as I don't need too many candies for Kabutops. Venusaur is a long way off for me. I'm currently stuck on 13 Bulbasaur candy.
