    Good luck with that PD.

I often IV people with work, simplest tip I can give is show your strong points in every competency they are looking for...... and never waffle. (too much)

Who, me? Waffle? Heavens to Betsy. Perish the thought ! :P

If anyones over in the Glasnevin area this evening, Alan and Bernard Sr are doing a pre game disussion thingy in my Dads old local, The Tolka House.

I think it is a decoy team expect Andrews in for Kevin Mc at the very least, that is his usual switch.

The auld fella says to me if there is no changes that means we don't have to buy a programme..... :D

I got that @rseways Jim surprised me big style!

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Yeah. Methinks that is a no brainer. All the talk midweek has been about Berno and Flynner, but I can't see Gavin doing something that drastic. Agree or disagree with it, but it just ain't his style.

This band of rain that over Leinster is not going to clear until 2pm unfortunately, so it's another bad day for free flowing football :-(

I have avoided reading the GAA forums since the first game. After a quick glance through im glad i did!!

Havent a clue what Dublin team will turn up today and i must admit im very worried.

Have four hours of work to do then home for a quick shower and im going straight to the ground.

    We can do this!!1

Aye - from a Mod viewpoint this has probably been the worst year ever for thread carnage in the AI build up. Unlike Trump we don't have any intention on building a wall, but the consolation is our seasonal posters will be back across the border before the dark nights of the club championship resume :D

No excuses today - Dublin should hopefully have the answers

Lashing rain here in Dublin all morning. Not the weather Dublin will have hoped for and can see pitch being like an icerink similar to the drawn game. Think rain will be a leveller and makes it a 50/50 game rather than Dublin being 2 point favourites.Could be suited for more physical player like o gara in full forward to offer something different to other players as can see dubs forwards struggle get away from mayo defenders. Start o gara and give him 25 mins and if doesn't perform bring on likes of Mc Menamin Andrews etc.

    not this again!!

Yeah i hate the weather talk too. On the basis of one game (seriously one game) its assumed Mayo have the advantage if it rains and Dublin have the advantage if its dry. One game isn't a big enough sample size to come to such conclusions. Stupid stuff if you ask me.

I was secretly hoping it was pissing today and Dublin turned the tables.

Looks to be clearing up here at croke park. Rain has stopped and patches of blue sky appearing. Feeling optimistic about today.

Our players need to get the proper footwear on for today though. Far too many of them were sliding around like they were on ice. Park up the mouldies and blades and get the longer studs onto the boots lads. It's not rocket science.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

I think it comes from the fact that it rains 400 days of the year in Mayo so they must be better suited to it :)

Most of the eastern half of the country has between 750 and 1000 millimetres (mm) of rainfall in the year. Rainfall in the west generally averages between 1000 and 1250 mm.

It rains A LOT in the wild west. You would nearly feel sorry for Mayo as if the curse is not bad enough!

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Good luck to the Dubs today, I am confident we can do it .

Well the rain hasn't done Mayo much good in the last 65 years.:) Rain just spoils a match, too much slipping and sliding and all that. Not nice for fans either. It is always good to have a nice, calm, dry day for any match. Hopefully conditions will improve during the day.

We are looking for a change in the weather, and we will certainly get them in the teams. Keegan will track Connolly, but other than that anything could happen. Tactics will be interesting. Who starts, where they play, how well they play and who comes off the bench!

I heard from a very genuine and reliable source for tickets this morning. I was on the lookout for one for a friend. I got one for him from the same source two weeks ago. Anyway, my source said that they are well short and everyone is wondering where the tickets have gone. So lads and lassies, we can expect a very big Mayo crowd there. The good news is that my friend got sorted elsewhere. Mayo can have the tickets; we're holding onto Sam.:) COYBIB.

Oh hang on, he never actually left, did he? My bad. :D:D:D

    Well done lads.

Tough to take as a mayo man but no complaints overall. Nothing between those 2 teams.

    Enjoy the celebrations.

Well done lads. There was barely anything in it in the end, but a deserved win and ye should enjoy it.

    Congrats lads.

    Game came down to changes.

Mayo got it wrong picking Hennelly.

Dublin got it right picking Mick Fitz and bring Costello on.

Back to back is no easy feat. Well deserved by an incredible team.
