Capoue is a must start this week imo against a Bournemouth side who've conceded in all their away games so far this season. They've conceded goals to midfielders in each too which is interesting. Capoue has two goals in three home starts.

    Foster
    Williams Friend Valencia
    Sterling Mane Ozil Antonio Snodgrass
    Lukaku Aguero

    Pickford Mee Diomande Amat

    1. It'll be Mane or Aguero as captain.

    2. The Ibra and Sanchez fear is very real. I just can't justify -4 this week as I think Lukaku has a decent chance of matching Ibra, plus Burnley are tough at home. If Arsenal score I'll just hope Ozil's haul is somewhat comparable to Sanchez.

    Is this decent logic?

judging by the teams listed here there's a lot of pressure on Pubisball to hold up.

Was James Collins dropped last week or I'll/injured
Seems odd he wasn't even a sub
And it's not like they were better without him so im veering towards playing him and banking transfer but Amat is his back up again !

    Anyone

    Foster (Jaku)
    Lovren Holebas (McAuley, Amat, Baines)
    Sanchez Sterling Firmino Antonio Capoue
    Aguero Rashford Lukaku

If I bank my transfer it's either AOA or a double Pulis away to Sunderland. Only 2 CS for WBA so far though.

    If I use my FT.
I'm tempted by Sterling -> Walcott. I don't know why I sense a Sterling blank or rest... With KDB & Nolito out he should be nailed though with Pep we never know. But anyway, Spurs at home won't be an easy nut to crack.

Or Baines out. Direct swap to Williams? Or a Saints def (great defensive form but tough run of fixtures)? Or an Arsenal def (good defensive form too) and great next 4 fixtures. Scratch that I can't afford any of them..

    What do you guys think?

Capoue is a defensive midfielder for a team that will probably be bottom 6. He has scored a statistically improbable number of goals from doing very little actual attacking. People treating him as the new Mahrez are loosing the plot IMO.

He's not a must start if you have 4 other mids who are actual attackers.

Capoue or Tadic then in you opinion? Tad is away to Leicester

Tadic all day long. Leicester conceeding plenty and he's on pen. And he'll probably spend about 4 x as much time in the final third.

Cheers. But then AOA or double Pulis? Find it hard to decide...

I'm stuck between playing AOA to play Capoue over Amat/Cameron or not.

Being a Capoue skeptic my heart isn't in it. May just play one of the defs and hope for 2 points.

Thinking I might keep AOA for GW38.

Also, Pickford (and Kone) or Foster? Gut is double Sunderland.

    Snodgrass or Capoue ???

Anyone worried about pulisball having just 2 clean sheets. That makes them joint second best in the league. Play them.

I'm playing Snodgrass. I think he's a better chance of scoring the most points of the pair as he's more attacking and has set pieces.

Capoue is top 6 on form right now of midfielders. I don't know how you decided that people were comparing him to Mahrez?

Anyways it doesn't matter who people are comparing him to because right now he is on form, his home form is excellent, the fixture is perfect so he is a must start based on all the information we have.

The fact that his starting position is defensive midfield doesn't matter one iota. Until he stops doing it he is a must start with the conditions we have here as regards home form and opposition.

You are determining form from fpl points and goals. Which is fair enough but experience shows that unless it's backed by underlying stats and/or actually watching his matches it's unlikely to last.

This game is about predicting (guessing) what will happen next, not hoping what happened last week will keep happening.

And the fact that he spends very little time in the final third and even less in the opposition box does matter in judging that.

    Capoue

Diomande is at nothing - He's bench fodder

    Cech
    Williams Holebas McAuley
    Sanchez Mané Antonio Townsend
    Aguero (c) Rashford Lukaku

    Pickford Capoue Lovren Amat

Was tempted to downgrade one of Antonio or Townsend to a cheapie and then upgrade Rashford to Ibra. Think I'll hold off now though and bank the FT instead.

You tell that to Yaya Toure and Aaron Ramsey!!!!!

I'm going with an inform goal machine in Capoue for such a low low price. Myself and casuals are in for a great weekend :)

    Pickford
    Evans - Kone - Williams
    Firminho - Antonio - Sanchez - Capoue
    Lukaku - Zlatan - Aguero (c)

Mandanda: Holebas - Fletcher - Amat

Tell me what I've done wrong or who to captain please? :)
