Nice 670cp eevee with 95% ivs and what does he turn into??? Jolteon with discharge as his main move. Sounds like my eevee got an std!!!

I'm starting to pay more attention to IVs and stuff and looking at some of the pictures of pogobag, it looks pretty good. I'm just worried by the messages making it sound like you are doing something wrong by logging in to the site. Do niantic really care if you know your exact stats that much? Are any site users worried about being banned or is it just a precautionary message?

Plenty of us didn't have the slightest clue about Pokémon till this game came out. Now we're experts. Funny really, the game is fairly indept but you can start out just collecting different pokemon and gradually get sucked in. It's good fun.
But you need a smart phone

Since i posted this morning I now (co-incidentally) have a smart phone. Now I have to figure how to use it.

Anyone in Waterford - just across the road from WIT (front of Ballybeg) seems to be a regular spawn point for Charmander the last week or so.

Hatched my 35th 10km this afternoon, Onix number 5 :(
I did get another 10km egg on the way home.
Highlight catches today, Kabuto and 1080CP Gloom. Nice bit of walking done aswell so I'm up to 70 Charmander candy

Getting easier to hold gyms now the craze has died down. Passed a gym that happened to have an empty slot so dropped a pokemon in and its still there 3 days later.

You're in Waterford, I think you mentioned above? Any hints for where I might find this Lickitung?

Had a pikachu outline appear while at home. Myself and my daughter falling out the door to no avail before he disappeared. Ah, the thrill of the hunt!

I'm playing with the kids too. Just had a Voltorb appear down the end of the green (which is the best thing to have appeared here in a long time), but neither of them wanted to go out to get it, complaining of the cold! So off I went on my own, phone in each hand, getting some strange looks from people :D

He looks like he should be leading the Haka.

The final growlithe I needed to evolve despawned before my eyes earlier. Don't mind to much as my best one has only 540CP so I can wait a bit. Only need five more fish now for a gyardos. I have a 145CP with high IV so it will surely get twister. :D

Found a Rhyhorn, but am still so far away from evolving that I could use an egghorn.

Those moves give you the 2nd best attack and 4th best defensive moves, out of a possible 6; not too bad so. Just thank Jesus you didn't end up with Zen Headbutt and Earthquake ;)

Have a great time in London! If you have time to go to any of the parks, there are loads of mons. Down by the London Eye at Waterloo (and all along the river really) are loads of Magikarps, Psyducks, the odd Dratini and Ponyta.

Green Park has loads of Eevies and Ekans and the occasional Jigglypuff.
Greenwich had Charmanders when I was last there
    Hampstead Heath for Rydons
Holland Park is lovely and always has loads of Bulbasaurs (as well as some Abras, Nidoran and the occasional Lapras)
    Regent's Park has some Squirtles
Battersea Park is teeming with Digletts (haven't had the chance to go there yet though)
    Richmond Park has Abras

    Thank you!

I was at Regent's Park today and mainly only got Pidgeys :pac:

I don't have much time tomorrow because I'm heading elsewhere, but I'll be in Hyde Park for a few hours (my dad is doing the Serpentine swim) so I'll throw out a lure and see what's happening there!

How is the game fairing these days, heard it was wanting popularity wise now.

I was curious about it but deleted it when I realised I can't battle other players

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 36,034 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

All the casuals and fly by nights have ditched it but the hardcore players and the ones that pump cash into it are still there so the makers are churning coin with a lightened server load and heaps more stuff to introduce. So it's win win for them at least.

FYI: Bushy Park, Dublin seems to be a Magnemite nest now. As usual, all crap IVs but good for candies.

Are you sure they all have crap IVs?

Well that's interesting! The few I caught were quickly dispatched to the Professor but great news to hear some decent ones will pop up too!

Might have to take a trip back to Marlay Park again. 454 Exeggcute Candy just waiting for the right IVs...

Hatched a ****ing Pinsir. Jesus Christ.

Took down a level three yellow gym. Very very boring process. Red People were literally queuing up to take it back from me at 1 am in the park.

Found one more carp. Just four left to catch now.

Hatched a fkn jynx yesterday from a ten K! Being in Paris right now, I understand the frustration hatching a pinsir, they are never off the nearby list! Straight after my jynx hatched, three appeared around me in disney! Nothing rare popped in disney, was like walking round back home! Only good thing is, I have three ten K eggs on the boil, which I expect to hatch today! I'm hoping for a hitmonchan, last ten K I've yet to hatch!
And that news re region specifics are locked, including from egg hatches, is a pain in the arse, so I've to fly to the states and asia/Australia to get them.... Fook that!

Or just wait for trading to come in. I'm currently linking in with friends, family etc. around the world so I'll hopefully be set when trading launches :)
