Chipped my tempered glass screen protector. Haven't a clue how!

    Which one were you using?

Would I get it by the 27th Sept?

Ordered mine last Tuesday, being delivered tomorrow so 7 days for me. DHL tracking says it is in their Dublin delivery depot.

Hey folks, I am due an upgrade now (currently have an HTC M9) and was originally looking at either a Samsung S7 or HTC M10 but now considering just going for the OnePlus 3 (not an upgrade option obviously).

What is the camera and battery like in the OnePlus?

The phone seems to have a lot of positive reviews.

    Thanks

    Expensive. Too expensive.

€20 isn't too steep to protect the phone. I stupidly paid mad money for otter box one for my iPhone.

I got the bamboo cover - that's all it is really, a cover. Feels nice in the hand and looks really cool, but probably doesn't protect it much other than scratches to the back or dings on the corners.
Suits me as i like my phones as naked as possible, I don't use a screen protector or anything.
If you're looking for serious protection they're probably not great but I'm quite happy with it.

I did have one of their flip covers for my oneplus one and it was fine too - the corners where the phone clipped in have all cracked by now but that was with nearly 2 years use and very regular removal.

Thanks. Bamboo looks nice. Texture of sandstone appeals to me too

+1 for the sandstone, love how much grip it gives the phone.

I do a bit of travelling and find the dual SIM really handy. T-mobile in Croatia do a tourist SIM 11euro for one weeks unlimited LTE. In Helsinki at the moment - really expensive city with the exception of data charges. 4.90 euro for 1 weeks unlimited LTE, texts and calls within Finland on the DNA network - speeds are unreal

Only problem is my battery is taking a hit as having to keep my hotspot on for the wife's S7 Edge!

To be fair i consistently get those speeds on the 3 network here on my OP3:

I live in Dublin and have never got decent LTE speeds either in city centre or suburbs :(

One of the Finnish networks actually has the oneplus 3 available!

Only they dont really protect the phone. Dont be fooled because the call them protective cases... a flimsy piece of plastic/wood isn't going to do much.

I have the rose wood case from Oneplus and the default screen protector, had a few to many pints last week and dropped the phone from the 1st floor straight between the stairs onto the hard wood floor on the ground floor.

Heard an almighty bang when it hit the floor, feared the worst but low and behold not a scratch.

I bought the Spigen Rugged Capsule for mine. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01H3PEWDK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Have to say very impressed - not what i expected in that's it's a soft enough, but it really does protect the phone and looks good.

I got the same case from Spigen and I love it. Premium feel and nice and compact. I absolutely hated the Orzly Grip-Pro case I had initially.

I have the same case and I think it's class as well. Has anybody got a good tempered glass to go with it that doesn't lift at the edges.

Go with the wife, they're rarely wrong :)
I ordered Sunday 11th via UK site because of the embargo and it was shipped from Poland anyway instead of UK on Wednesday arrived NI Thursday PMotel let me down and didn't deliver till 2.30am Saturday in Dublin so DHL's bit might see you have this in your hands tmrw. :)
PS, it's a feckin lovely phone

Just ordered one. Realised that all my micro USB cables are now redundant. Has anyone got converters from anywhere other than the official website?
What about extra chargers? Hardly any generic fast ones available?
That spigen case linked a few posts back looks great, but out of stock!
