funsize fleshlight didn't even know what a fleshlight was till I googled it
On a unrelated note day 2 in college went very well. Looks a really interesting course and think it will challenge me in a way that will excite and baffle in equal amounts.
Infectious dieseses is one subject so I have an idea for an app.

Anyone been in STAR amusements in Bray since they renovated? It's been thin for a while, but with everything now downstairs, gone is the awesome Tank! Tank! Tank! (the Tokyo Wars sequel), the House of the Dead 4, the sweet Afterburner: Climax rig and the Mario Kart: GP shindig. There is a Sega Rally 3 machine and a Deadstorm Pirates still left, both of which can be gotten on the PS3 for the price of a pint (well, SR: Revo and SR3 were made at the same time with similar assets).
I really really dislike going in there these days and seeing what it's become.
Gone are the days where you'd pop in for a Half Life LAN in the internet cafe, play a few rounds of Tokyo Wars and then head into the (quiet!) smokey pool hall for a few games.0 -
Probably not what you’re looking for, but I outfitted my house and garage with Philips Hue bulbs, lamps and LED strips. I have colour themes setup in the garage and arcade room for when I’m playing Ridge Racer, Point Blank or something on the Candy to give the room a bit of an arcade feel (all the bulbs are RGB). Lots of hacks and tricks you can do with them as they are running on an open source system.
Took a look there, seems really cool but for the ammount I'd need to get to light the space I'd say it would end up costing me a lot of money 0 -

To its credit, STAR seemed like the only ones that actually bothered to maintain the shop. A lot of what you'd see in Tramore looks like they're testing the machines after some kind of fallout.
Quirkey's, on my last visit couple years back, had an OG Sega Rally that was bluescreened and overheating, and nae a **** was given, while their Silent Hill Arcade was that smoked that aiming dead-on straight saw a hit register in the upper left side of the screen. Did have the Ghost Squad update and VF5, so it wasn't all bad, but yeah, no salvaging the scene it seems.0 -

Yeah, even after they dropped the price per bulb recently it's still overpriced for what it is. I got most of them during the Prime sale on Amazon a while back, 40-50 percent off the price.0 -

I cant wait to bring it to a beers and toture Ciderman playing back Golden Axe 1 & 2 tunes on top of Streets of Rage 1 and 2 tunes all at the same time!

Hey folks, I run vantasks, just did a search for vantasks on boards and came across these posts so just following up..Vantasks seems to be recommended a lot on boards.ie and I made the mistake of using them just to move 4 items of furniture and they broke 50% of them.
Can you please PM me details of this move? When was it, where was it to and from and what exactly broke. Any other details you can give would be appreciated such as how the movers responded etc.I've used Vantasks.ie twice. First time everything went perfect, second time a cab fell.
There's always a risk with these things unfortunately. I'll be using them again whenever I get around to moving my gear again though, they're decently priced and have vans with tail lifts.
Hi Oisín, I just checked back from our last emails and the last one I sent was asking how the job went but I never got a reply to it from what I can see. Was this the job the cab fell on? Was there any damage?
Sad to see both of these posts as I've managed to maintain a very minimal history with any damage and although mistakes are always bound to happen with this type of work, it's the way they are dealt with that is almost as important as preventing them in the first place, so if either of you are disappointed with the way anything was handled, please PM or email through the site

Well that's the first week done in college.
This is one of the most terrifying and exilirating things I've ever done.
