What's going to happen with replay tickets?

They will sell them to people who want to attend the match.

Why is it that Diarmuid Connolly only ever lashes out against Lee Keegan? For what must be the 5th game in a row Keegan goes out of his way to get Connolly sent off. It's a disgrace how people let him get away with it.

Do you seriously believe that ? Might want to google a little bit about him before posting next time.

What happened to Rock, unprecedented misses by him

    Pressure.

    Bigger allocation to ticketmaster?

Surprising its down for Saturday despite the stadium being free on the 2nd?

Sky saying its 1st Oct. And possibly at 5.00pm.

Keegan didnt force Connolly to drag him by the jersey at the start. He could have let go of Keegan and nothing would have happened.

At the end of it, it was Keegan keeping a grip of Connolly's jersey despite Connolly trying to get him to release it.

Leeroy admitted that he does it

But Lane fell for it anyway

From what I can see, Keegan was the one antagonising Connolly, which goes back to my original point. Keegan does this every game he's up against Connolly.

Oh its most certainly the Saturday - sure the calendar has been out since last November, but why the Saturday when the stadium is free on the Sunday?

Will go through the same process as the final

You didnt see it all. Keegan started the whole thing grabbing Connolly by the jersey and not letting him go. He was at it all game.

Rock hit a couple of big scores from play iirc. There's Dublin forwards with much more questions to answer than him although his free taking was poor.

Im no dub fan, but at least 3 times I saw keegan take Connolly out of it off the ball as a Dublin attack progressed.... Connolly is no angel but fair is fair, with all of the officials there and the rap sheets of both players it should have been seen.
Poor game IMHO, notwithstanding the conditions the decision making at times was very poor, for instance after about 5 minutes it was clear that hopping the ball was an issue, but players especially Dublin forwards kept doing it.
For a the talk of Dublin being a great side, they failed to close it out. 3 up and instead of playing did mayo on it and tried to run the clock down.
Ref was poor, Killian O'Connor (who appears black card proof) should have been off the pitch when the equaliser was scored.

Cillian is a super footballer but my god he's insufferable. AOS isn't being used right, I don't know how you get the best out of him but what they're doing isn't it.

Such bias from the RTE panel. They're an absolute disgrace. They've spoken nothing but about how Mayo might win the replay for the last twenty minutes

Brogan has been awful quiet this year. Is he approaching the end?
Terrible nice guy though by all accounts.

    MOTM contenders?

Harrison, O Connor (RTE like the "big score" player), Andrews, Parsons

    EDIT: Cooper also

I saw one that was right in front of the Ref, that was was so infuriating about LAne and the black card he did give.

Ya total bottlers. They just come back from conceding 2 terrible og's, 5 points at HT and 3 points with 8 mins to go.

Last All-Ireland final win, 1951. How many decided final appearances since then? 7. All lost. This will likely rise to 8 on October 1st. So yeah, bottlers when it matters most.

They conceded two own goals? So what. That's nobody's fault but their own. Dublin were there for the taking today. Don't expect the same in a couple weeks time.

Aidan O'Shea is overrated,a poor team player and his display today was the definitive example of that.

Nobody answers that question because they can't. Anybody here who is a fan of players trying to get opponents sent off aren't true GAA fans. Play the f*cking ball, not the man.

Connolly plays the game until someone antagonises him, and players do it on purpose. That's not sport. It's the complete opposite, in fact.

Did he have his photographer and camera man there today? :o

Crazy amount of high tackles and stupid fouls that only came from childish losses of temper. Players who can't keep their heads are a liability to any team. Passion is admirable, but both teams needed more composure. It was more evident in Dublin today, but have seen it in Mayo plenty times.

Lads and ladies, keep the thread on topic or it well be locked for two weeks until the replay

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,911 ✭✭✭Poor_old_gill

Connolly punched Keegan and Philly nutted O Connor- both should be examined and banned after the game.
Surely Dublin need to drop Michael Darragh- he has been bloody woeful all year and does nothing but fouls lads off the ball and acts the clown- its startling how they keep playing him.

Dublin really, really got away with that there today as they were very poor- Dublin cant be as bad again and should win the replay by 5 or so

Honestly, I think the last thing that Mayo fans will be going over the next two weeks is getting hyped up. My god, they have been there so many times at this stage, they KNOW not to expect anything.
