Not happy at all. We should have beat them out the gate. They were cat from start to finish. Devastated tbh.

Very entertaining game. I think the ref did well overall. Given the rules they are bound by, they will always be inconsistent, particularly on days like that.

I wonder will Mayo get home advantage for the replay?

Dublin will never play worse than this.

I don't know if that's a complement to Mayo's system or it's just a complete noshow from their key players.

Dublin haven't played great in any of the recent finals to be fair.

Brogan and Flynn have been well below par all year and Keegan has had Connollys number every time they played against each other

Yep, will be no contest in the replay, was Mayo's best chance today but they shot themselves in the foot too many times.

why though???????? Mayo were the better team, resilient, reacted to all the pre hype and came back from 5 points down at HT and 3 points down in injury time!!

Well able to win the replay

Thank god there's going to be a replay, because that was a big steaming pile of ****e, and in no way deserving of being remembered as an all-ireland final

Connolly should have kept ball rather than go for the last sideline kick

They have been played badly for the last 3 games not as great as they looked. Yes will not play that bad but will have to get a whole lot better.

Any other team play like Dublin and the panel would call it puke

I'd say Coppers is freezing some amount of cider right now.

    Absolutely bizarre.

    Mayo/Dublin/Referee all brutal.

Terrible football but great to watch in a very strange way!

If Mayo are brave, they would drop Aidan O'Shea for the replay. Not a team player for me

Replay should be in Limerick next Saturday :pac:

No way Lane should be let near the replay, absolutely headless

Dublin woegious and Mayo couldnt put them away

There's one thing that Joe Brolly is missing here. It will be sooo much harder for Mayo to beat Dublin on a dry day. You gotta feel today was the day to do it.

Replays are a fooking joke, play it to a finish FFS. You have club players in Mayo who will now have another 3 weeks of twiddling their thumbs.

Terrible final, I'm actually glad its a draw. Hopefully the weathers dry next weekend and I can get a ticket.

Everything was bad, awful ref, awful weather, awful performance (particularly Dublin). Worst I've seen Dublin play under Gavin tbh, probably including when we got hammered by Donegal. Kilkenny, Bernard, McAuley etc. etc. all terrible. Small, Fenton and Andrews the only performers. If Connolly had passed instead of trying to hog a headline we'd have won, I'd say Kilkenny is raging at him. On dry weather we'll win next week.

Cillian O'Connor, great equaliser. He's an epic player but also an epic whinger, trying to get a free at the end...

    Nonsense.

They are meant to be bringing in extra time when there is a draw next year. It's so ridiculous that they have everybody there and wont play an extra half hour. Nothing but greed

    Not really.

The replay has always been in the game and they've had them for years.

Don't see why there can't be a replay they existed long before extra time did and they've decided to keep them.

In some ways it's fairer because you train to play a 70 minute game not a 90 minute one and therefore extra time can have a massive advantage for the team with the best athletes but not necessarily the best footballers.

Aidan O Shea mentioned the club championship - weren't there huge issues in Mayo regarding that to the build up of the All Ireland?

Dublin players not speaking to the media
